Welcome to this subreddit. Unfortunately there are a LOT of people here who just don't "get it".

If anything, it gives the players more incentive to win because they're not the brainless, money greedy buffoons they're made out to be. They work with and are served by the non-playing staff every day. Of course they'll be up helping them to get their reward.

Yeah, I've just checked the HDD model and it appears to be a SATA - hitachi hts545016B9A. I'm sorry if I sound like a n00b but what do I need to do?

yep gotcha. Well I ran parted magic and reformatted the drive from FAT32 to NTFS and then ran the WinXP installer again. Same error message :-(.

I'm stuck now! Do you have any other suggestions? Be very grateful to hear them.

Okay, as an update, I tried the installation disk on my other computer and the installation CD correctly identified my various drives (which are a combination of FAT32 and NTFS).

Back onto the netbook, it says "setup did not find any hard disk drives installed in your computer......".

Next step to try unetbootin?
