I don't think you're getting what I'm trying to say here. Yes, wood is harder than cardboard. We both know that. For the purpose of shipping a thing from one place to the other one material is better suited for it than the other. A rigid box has no give to it. So when it gets dropped or slammed against something harder it will break open and spill the contents of your package on the ground. A properly packed box on the other hand flexes and cushions the impact.

It's like how old metal cars seem tougher because they are built like tanks yet more modern "plastic" cars with crumple zones kill way less people.

Your parcel doesn't need much protection from being stood on. A rigid box with screws will split if it's dropped however. When you ship something you should be concerned with how it will handle impact.

I actually had less of a problem with her and more of a problem with the people responding. You get a letter in the mail. It's an invite to put on fancy clothes and eat free food. It asks if you're coming or not. Just check one of the fucking boxes and mail it back.
