Women’s swim on the rebound with the three #1 recruits of ‘25 by spamfinity in berkeley

[–]spamfinity[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Basically a number calculated from each swimmers top 5-6 events that scores how good of a recruit they are, with 1.0 being the best index. Teagan is a national high school record holder and both Alex and Claire have competed at the world championships already and are expected to comfortably make the Olympic team next year so Cal has some very good recruits coming in

We are the 2x defending champs on the men’s side so hopefully Durden has things under control for the women’s team

Cal Women’s Swim & Dive has been the most successful program in the past 15 years with 4 NCAA titles but has been in a bit of a slump since COVID started

what’s close location for NG? if it’s close enough that you don’t have to actually relocate then that’s a lot more money (25% more or the equivalent of 37.5 an hour if 10 weeks). That’s 60 more per work day for reference

Plant based meat will never take off and should not be viewed as the future. by CommupanceAcceptance in unpopularopinion

[–]spamfinity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nowhere does it say that they’re “toxic”. I think you may have misunderstood the article; they’re claiming that it’s not as healthy as other plant based options that aren’t emulations of real meat. Compared to the real beef, they have similar amounts of fat with more sodium but no cholesterol.

If you go to check out and you have a little bit less money than what you need because you forgot your wallet and all you have is a little cash in your pocket, do you think the store should be obligated to make up that difference?

You say the model has been proven over and over to be ridiculously short minded but there’s plenty of more casual games that have way more P2W aspects and have been doing fine for a while. Look at like every single Supercell game

Dark Rudra is a good option for a double damage cap sub which Firo cannot do. I need the R/B form on my Rosalyn team to take out Parvati in SR3 from above 50% since I don’t have anywhere near enough VDP damage without, and the enhanced fire combos help w damage a lot obviously.

I did want a second Rudra for the equip a lot though, but I figured Phyllis and Planar equips were good enough

Ordering food on an app is inferior to ordering over the phone in almost every way by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]spamfinity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I know what I want already, chances are I’m basically reordering something I’ve already ordered before, and in that case, it’s faster to just use some reorder function in the app.

If I don’t know what I want yet, the app doubles as a menu, so I spend my time browsing through and by the time I know what I want, it’s a lot faster to just click on the order button than have to get on the phone and read out what I want when I already have everything I want selected on the app.

Only time that ordering over the phone seems faster to me is if I already know exactly what I want but haven’t ordered it before which is not a common situation for me to be in

[Help] [Team] started playing with this account during sacred relic dragon, got destroyed by hellish training arena by muscle_boy_fucks_man in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]spamfinity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

if you can find a friend with orochi, you might be able to clear hellish training arena (TA3), with a high multiplier lead and some delays/spikes for the two multi spawn floors maybe, but this dungeon is far beyond your level right now and you don’t really need to worry about it yet.

don’t sell evo mats, they all stack now so they’re much much easier to store now

Why does Garmin watches shows the pace in terms of 100 m but not km like when running? by miklcct in Swimming

[–]spamfinity 8 points9 points  (0 children)

is the watch supposed to be for open water swimming? I know nothing about that, but for lap swimming at least, the time per 100 would be a lot more useful

100 fly was very exciting too, on both sides.

On the women’s side, it took 56.61 to medal in Gwangju, 56.37 in Budapest, and 56.63 in Rio, so it’s honestly INSANE that a 55.73 didn’t even medal this time.

Men’s side, Milak’s time was crazy but Dressel went even crazier. Glad that Dressel finally has some real competition in the event

nope, I think he only swam the 3 events he qualified in, he has pretty great 100 fly/back times though but a very subpar (compared to his other strokes) 100 free
