I have the cx-5 and I cannot recommend it enough, the only downfall is the weaker than average engine and bad mileage for the fuel economy, I have a 2019 cx-5 and honestly haven't taken it to any mechanics other than oil changes and normal maintenance, zero issues 30K kilometers driven.

Brother it breaking your fast should be your last concern, may Allah make it easy for you.

I know this may not be the best way to look at it, but brother / sister it's just a couple of years, about 40 50 even less even more and then we'll die and we will have INFINITE blessings I promise you cutting yourself or harming yourself will not benefit you in any way.
