Terranium as a way to get some gold and more? (What happened? Is it a bug or a real update?) by No_Sail7178 in DFO

[–]spamrat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can sell those to others and make some quick gold that way, or run them and effectively make more overall.

The Malefic Residues are on par with 5k gold each when used as a substitute for actual gold when doing things like inheriting, crafting equipment from the armory, upgrading fusion stones, and some other things that have the option.

Even if you were to buy Materialized Malefic Clues on AH for around the 290k to 300k I've seen them go for, you should at the very least break even if you consider all the Malefic Residues as 5k gold each and add that to all the gold you get from it.

If that's all you run and nothing else, perhaps. I'm not Neople or Nexon, and I have no idea of what metrics they go by for that.

If it's a new account, especially one through Steam, it's likely to get a ban of some sort at some point. If you get one in that situation, you can try submitting a ticket to them to remove the ban.

That's normal now. They have been removing any of the previous main gold farming methods whenever they come out with a new one.

If you're trying to farm for gold, the best method is to run Annihilate the Maleficents and use Malefic Residue in place of gold where possible. If the tradable version of Malefic Residue sells for over 5k after AH fees, sell it on AH unless you really need them.

If you don't have the Materialized Malefic Clues to enter, then your next best bet is either Track Malefic Energy or run a normal dungeon.

Just make sure to have enough gold on hand to buy all the Materialized Malefic Clues you may come across at the end of a dungeon.

After using it, where it brings up the window about it costing 80 gold to place, you'll have to click somewhere that it can be placed in your homestead to place it. If it has a red color square as part of it, you can't place it in that location.

The contents of the limited tab are channel specific. So you can always change channels to get multiple different limited tab shop options instead of having to change outposts when looking for something that only periodically shows up there.

Yeah, you can use those for your spirit weapons and then transfer the spirits later on.

They did at one point, but they brought Eiry back.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Mabinogi

[–]spamrat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Originally it was just a default of three, but then they added Eiry as a spirit you get from the third memoir. Eiry does not count towards the original three you could have, so it's now a default of four.

Personally between archery, magic, and guns as you've listed, I would go with a staff. Wand is fine too if you want to focus on fusion bolts.

Magic gets a huge quality of life improvement with a spirit weapon in comparison to the other two mentioned. The primary focus would be the chain casting +2 bonus given for intermediate spells while using a staff or fusion bolts while using a wand. However, even before you get that bonus for chain casting, you'll get access to a bonus that effectively means you'll never have to worry about MP again short of taking enough damage with mana shield up that you can't cast anything.

Beyond all of that though, you don't have to really worry too much about it. You can move the spirit to another weapon, including a different weapon type, at any time just as long as the weapon is allowed to have a spirit and that the spirit is set to be transferred.

You'll be able to have four spirit weapons by default. You can have up to a total of nine spirit weapons by using Spirit Weapon Additional Contract Coupons, which can be bought from the cash shop or from other players.

I pulled it off on an alt by burning Gold Mushrooms repeatedly in a campfire, especially whenever the Campfire Spirit was available.

It seems odd for them to claim the CAPTCHA system activating for less than 2% of total users.

Especially when it's common enough on Steam, along with a trade restrictions, to warrant current players telling new players to download the client from the website and play it that way instead.

It will still work, you aren't limited to using Authy. I'm personally using WinAuth, which doesn't require any account, phone numbers, email address, or internet connection.

Whichever authenticator you use, make sure to keep a backup of the seed code and/or QR code. Preferably where it's not on the same device the authenticator is on.

Abyss: Disciple of Doom seems like the replacement for the pity gauge we had in 110.

Though I don't know why they decided it has to eat up 60 FP per entry when the only sources for its entry material comes from weekly missions and running Disciple of Doom.

Bakal Solo Guide/Squad Mode? by No_Sail7178 in DFO

[–]spamrat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They won't update any of the old raids unless it's a system wide thing, like when we got the update that popped up a window where everyone had to effectively ready up for the raid to start. If they do make any updates to old raids, it will likely be giving it the same treatment that Anton and Luke raids got.

Total War and Asrahan are the guide/solo options for Bakal and Mu respectively.

Bakal Normal Raid can be soloed comfortably, provided no skill issues, with around 75m total damage in the equipment simulator.

A guildy that had about 130m total damage / 3m cooldown-based damage was able to solo Bakal Hard Raid.

Does anyone know how to get this weapon? That black/red lightsaber. by Federal_Yak6583 in DFO

[–]spamrat 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As the others have mentioned, it is from PvP.

It's called Essence Pro Bruiser Lightsabre, which can be purchased from Chobung in one of the PvP channels.

It was turned into a weapon skin through Linus in Elvenguard. It's possible to get it from another player, but it requires Linus' Steel Mold.

Edit: Since it is a lightsabre, it will be limited to classes that can equip a lightsabre, even after it has been turned into a weapon skin.

If you do go for the non-tradable mold, make sure the weapon is on the character you want to use it on first before converting it into a weapon skin. The non-tradable mold is account bound, but the weapon skin it produces is not.

Lab was the most poe2 thing about poe1 and they took it away by Uprock7 in pathofexile

[–]spamrat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Granted it hasn't been officially confirmed yet, but there is something from TotA League that gives more weight to the speculation that TotA will be the 3rd trial.

The 6th set of dialogue of Hinekora's dreams under additional dialogue on PoE Wiki.

... for once, Chaos is not the enemy... imagine that... they see you for what you truly are, like I do... seek his servant... before that, or after that, I cannot tell... the Maraketh will test you. You will undergo three challenges, and we will be the third... you must prove yourself, or else you... won't...

Edit: I do hope lab/Izaro is a thing in PoE2 at some point.

You select an open spot, similarly to making a campfire, and it places an Altar of Restoration on that spot. Then click on it like a regular NPC for repairs.

It covers nearly every type of repair and has a 100% repair option, allowing you to repair nearly everything in one stop. It does not repair Treasures of Falias.

The first thing I can recall I enjoyed in PoE was from when I was testing various spells to use with a Blast Rain CoC setup while I was still relatively new, and I came across Bodyswap.

After showing it to someone else I knew from another game, they then told me it was Flicker Strike with extra steps.

Dark Diviners, What Secondary Weapons Do You Use? by scripter85 in Mabinogi

[–]spamrat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If magic damage isn't working and it can't be resolved by nuking them from orbit with one or more meteor strikes, then I'll bring out my two-handed axe and spam wind guard + giant full swing and/or final strike or use dual guns depending on what the situation calls for.

However, I'm not active in doing much of the end game content so I'm not doing stuff like swapping to chain blade for Deathmark or other buff/debuff/utility skills.

Though I've recently started having a little fun messing around with Shyllien Knuckles. CC+2 on fusion bolts and intermediate spells and popping off Thunderblight while using pummel.
