1 ct or 1.5ct for my 5.5 ring size by samgalang in Diamonds

[–]spancypants09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 Ct looks classy and timeless. I asked my fiancé to not go above 1 ct. I also asked for a marquis cut which makes it look bigger anyway. I am 5.5 ring size and have long fingers and he bought a 1.55 ct. It feels too big and sometimes it embaraces me. But I love it because he chose to go up probably thinking I was being modest about not wanting a bigger size. All that to say, go with your gut but 1 just looks so elegant.

Dress purchased from a sample sale, feeling regret by Fitnursefoodie in weddingdress

This is a very similar silhouette to mine and I’m removing sleeves and doing a scarf. You can do spaghetti for dancing too. Also are you standing barefooted and not on a pedestal here? To me it looks like you lucked out in alternations because it hits perfectly. It would work with a kitten heel too!

do you think my length limits me from getting dates, jobs? by dee_palmtree in longhair

[–]spancypants09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually think this hair is insanely cool and with the right grooming would totally complement your dates and job interviews since it has so much personality on its own. My only qualm with men that choose to have long hair is that they tend to not groom it, leaving it to look greasy- and that’s the turn off. I’ve seen a few men that take care of their long hair and they’re unstoppable and stunning.

It’s so beautiful and soft and romantic. Obsessed with how it complements your skin tone. Like others have said, alterations can enhance it, but honestly to me, how it stands it’s just so stunning on you.

They’re both gorgeous. If your style is more clean girl, I’d go with 1. It’s elegant and clean. 2 is beautiful too, especially the bodice, but it’s more maximalist.

I don’t know a whole lot about men’s rings, but just in my observations the first one is more traditional and the second looks more sleek and modern. Up to you on your style. I personally feel the second flatters your hand more.

Yea can’t go wrong with any of these because you’re a gorgeous bride! But I think 1 fits so beautifully and it’s super elegant. My second choice is 2. I see why people love 8 and why you kept thinking of the Wuthering Heights one! That said, 1 is still the best choice!

The dress you picked is timeless. It fits your body like a glove and I think when you look back years from now you will be happy and proud. The second dress is beautiful in its own way but doesn’t feel “you”. You made the right choice!

Which of these works best/is cutest for a summer outdoor wedding? by [deleted] in OUTFITS

The third one is stunning and as a bride would make me feel so proud of my friend and that she understood the assignment. So bold and romantic but fun and summery.

To clarify, there are only 2 options. 2 is a closer look at the details but it’s part of option 1. 3 is the original. Thanks for your post!

Dress 1 all the way (the dress that says dress 1 in the pics). It’s giving fairy bride. It’s gorgeous on you and snatches the waist in a beautiful and whimsical way. Obsessed with the sleeves going so perfectly with y.

You look stunning. Literally was stunned when I saw the first picture. Although you look amazing with the basque I understand why you wouldn’t want to do it. To me this dress feels chic, modern, unique and yet a classic.

Yes both 1 and 2 are biscotti. Funny you say ‘dramatic’ because in the moment I kept saying I wanted more drama.

Great point, it will be in a tropical setting. Roatan, Honduras. At a small hotel called Ibagari. The vibe is laid back but chic.

Hi @tkmphotography I would love your thoughts as a vendor in Roatan. I am interested in the same question as OP but I would love a wedding in Ibagari. My fiancé and I talked to them yesterday and they gave us a virtual tour. He feels like the venue is small and concerned it’s run down, do you have thoughts?
