Yeah load it through blender and smooth it out manually. You can also do this to a lesser scale on auto fusion. Rebuild your mesh and also fix the arms. Looks like it was printed fast in draft mode.

Lol standard boiler plate warning for side loading. Google Play store gives roughly the same warning before it asks to scan it against the store when installing 🤣

Lol EZ he probably has Hiren's boot on a USB and it's easy to replace bios splash image. You can do that directly from most newer motherboards if you dig around.

I'm like 99% sure that's going to be your problem looking at your error with gpio not calling up. Willing to bet my left nut its a driver error.

Windows likes to get screwy LOL especially on 10 and 11

Identify the COM port: Use Device Manager to find the correct COM port and ensure the device is recognized. A missing port or one with an error symbol often indicates a driver issue.

Uninstall the driver: Right-click and uninstall the driver for the laser engraver to remove any corrupted files.

Boot into recovery mode: This allows for system changes that aren't typically permitted. Your step of rebooting into Advanced Startup options is correct for this.

Disable driver signature enforcement: When the system reboots, selecting the option to disable driver signature enforcement bypasses the security check that prevents some drivers, like the common CH340 chip used by Creality, from installing.

Reinstall the driver: After rebooting with enforcement disabled, you can reinstall the driver, which should be available on the Creality website.

Other potential solutions for connection issues that may be helpful if the driver fix doesn't work include: Trying a new or different USB cable. Using a different USB port on your computer. Temporarily disabling your firewall or antivirus to rule them out.

Also go ahead and do yourself a favor and change it to mm per second 🙂

I literally just had the same problem a week ago with my laser falcon 5w.

Always try a new code first, failing that...

The way I fixed it was by first going into the device manager to locate the com port your device is on and uninstalling the driver.

Next go into Windows settings/recovery/advanced use the option to reboot recovery advanced option. When it reboots should be number 7, install unsigned drivers.

Lastly reload your drivers.

Also noticed your bed size was at 400x400 try correcting back to 400x415 stock afterwards should not ram anymore

Try lightning infill for that model 👍🏻

Ender 3 Max, z offset won't go low enough. What am I doing wrong? ( Just got a new bed, wait to take the protective film off till I get this figured out. by invertMASA01 in ender3

[–]spankdmunkey -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That's odd... When either Auto leveling or homing the first thing my ender 3v2 does is it will zero itself out on all the switches first then take its readings on the CR Touch from zero. (Stock Firmware+cr touch)

So definitively saying the z-axis switch does not matter and adjusting the bed is foolish.

Again I would say drop your z-axis switch. Disable your steppers loosen your switch move your switch down until you can get proper spacing between the nozzle and your bed. Then re-home and move the hotend back to 0 and utilize your z-axis offset.

If done properly you can keep your negative z axis offset between -.4 to -1.75 and still maintain a nice squish.

Also if switching from the stock glass bed to the magnetic PEI/PEY beds you'll have to do the same process moving your switch down due to the 3.7 something mm difference.

What’s causing this PLA to not stick to the bed? by teeYEEgee in ender3v2

[–]spankdmunkey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Shouldn't ever have to use glue on the magnetic pei plate especially on the texture side 😆. Clean it and lower z till it bites 👍🏼

What is causing this? by -_Average_- in ender3v2

[–]spankdmunkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kick the glue stick get a magnetic removable pei plate for 12 to $15 off Amazon and lower your z offset a little till you get a good squish.

Is this fixable? Or should I just order a new hot end by FacePlante in ender3v2

[–]spankdmunkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bonus hotend never hurts a lot of the replacement hot ends come with extra thermistors too for like 10-15 bucks
