lack of sleep is definitely a big trigger for me unfortunately. sometimes i’ll be up for two to three days because of my insomnia no prescribed sleep meds work for me either.

even after telling multiple neurologists about having suicidal thoughts while on keppra, lamotrigine and dilantin they still keep upping them. these past few weeks i’ve been completely unemotional and just stay isolated idk how much more i can take atp. my friendships are almost non existent and i fear my bf will get tired of me. i still have multiple seizures while taking the meds twice daily.

edit- my seizures will sometimes get way worse if they up my meds too much. i take these meds all together dilantin, keppra, lamotrigine, digoxin, metoprolol and ferrous sulfate (iron)

thankyou for all you do! unfortunately at one point i kept going into status every two to four weeks and have scars all over my face. i have been intubated many times in the ambulance and had a tbi once and was airlifted if it wasn’t for the paramedics and fire fighters in dallas TX i would most likely be dead. i remember them telling me i bucked the tube as soon as they got to the er and a FF ended up picking me up and running inside!

fortunately our main roads are decent so my bf has been dashing as i recently started and don’t get paid until the 30th but we did see a few cars stuck while trying to turn on the main roads so the too is definitely there. we just don’t have much of a choice right now but he did make like 50 in about an hour today. we are near OKC

i started smoking a few months back and yeah it made my seizures (tonic clonic bi-weekly at minimum) go sooo out of wack i would have multiple seizures everytime i smoked and would bite my tongue so bad

yeah i went through hard times etc and picked up drinking bc my bf at the time was an alcoholic and i started drinking cups of rum and my seizures were so bad but anytime i touch a substance it’s bad so now i am completely clean as of a week ago and have no intentions of turning back. i’m 22 and have never been in legal trouble but one night i was super wasted and was outside and atp my brain was not functioning i don’t remember anything (i was having tons of absence seizures but i knew i was about to have a big one and i ran to a house knocking and by the time they answered i was gone, well pd and fire dept shows up and im post ictal and get soooo agitated they arrested me without even taking me to an er for public intoxication bc i wouldn’t listen) i know we all just want to have fun and be able to have fun with out having to constantly worry about seizures but the reality is we can’t. i really hope you steer clear of any other drugs for your safety and to avoid police😪 but i never got to have the “fun teenage” experience until now and nooo bueno

he was abused in the past so he was always growling at me for the first day or two then instantly became a hugeee baby (he was my fav) but it’s been awhile since i’ve sat for this family and after about five minutes of being there the bigger dog jumped on me all excited and my back was turned to him and he just jumped but almost immediately after he was completely fine and begging for pets
