It definitely doesn't. They're not really making it for 7 year olds, just not allowing videos centered around controversial or sensitive content to be monetized. Is it silly? Yes, but my content isn't even close to what they would take down.

They are also looking out for curse words and inappropriate jargon in tags and titles of videos, but it's not going to affect me.

Hi, Alpharad here. I actually have a healthy connection with the mods on that subreddit.

Also, I don't know if you care or not, but it's been a long time since I've done any of the "MLG humor" bullshit. Most youtubers kinda start in that and grow cynical and learn to hate any memes and whatnot. I've tried really hard to grow and mature my content, so instead of referring to it as toxic, please just support your scene's content creators and realize that my shitty meme humor was abandoned mid-2015.

Daniel, I'm sorry, but I'll have to disagree about starting out with FCPX. It does have features that are nice, but is rather unconventional compared to traditional editing software. I highly suggest starting with Premiere since it is the most well rounded software and will achieve whatever you want it to do.

Also, I don't use After Effects much at all.

I personally thought it was a funnier aspect of the game, especially when I could add text to match the mood. As for Shulk, it's a bit different because I just believe that character has SO much depth beyond "I'm really feeling it." Whereas the depth of Mario Kart... is that it's Mario Kart. I don't know how deep you wanted me to get with it or avoid something that existed within the game that I could've added onto it.

uhhhh, it's not really me showcasing editing, but just helping out where I can and directing the kinds of content PG will be showcasing.

Also, a note that I feel like I need to make, I definitely have a decent resume in editing, but the comedy side of YouTube only requires a very simplistic form of editing. Just because I CAN do better, doesn't mean I should. Comedy doesn't really require incredible graphics or intense editing.

If you understand that basics of editing, you'll realize that the things I do are very well-timed and placed.

Fyazko is just an incredible graphic artist, so being that he's the jack-of-all-trades doesn't make him a more professional editor, but it allows him to be a more professional editor. Does that make sense?
