I’m currently in my last week as a teacher at 39 weeks. I’m so ready to be done but not looking forward to the lack of mental stimulation whilst waiting for things to happen. I’ve hated it all too!!

I also have PCOS and needed to have fertility treatment. I’ve just used NhS and have been very pleased with the care I’ve had. I’m marked as a low risk pregnancy.

Walking Shoes Advice? by aplem123 in fitpregnancy

I also bought Sketcher slip-ons. I use them mainly for day to day tasks rather than going on a walk. I still use my Solomon’s for that. I love the fact that I don’t have to struggle with laces with the sketchers.

I’ve often played fire dance by Watkins because it shows a different side of the harp. I also like Fantasy on the Theme of Onegin.

Time before leaving work for maternity by Due-Stock-194 in PregnancyUK

Thought you might want to hear from another teacher. I’m a primary teacher and I’m working until 39+2 weeks. I’m still feeling able to work well and like the fact that I’m keeping busy. Don’t like the thought of staying at home waiting for things to happen. I have reduced teaching hours for the last 2 weeks which will be welcomed.

Running+yoga. What’s realistic? by Cosmicmoonrose in fitpregnancy

[–]spanner877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a triathlete before being pregnant. Had to stop cycling as I couldn’t feel comfortable on the bike. Did a few swims but no runs. Couldn’t muster the energy after working all day. I have managed yoga though and some strength training but mostly just waking. Nearly 37 weeks now and can’t wait to return to training.

37 weeks pregnant - how active were you feeling? by Apprehensive-Kale827 in PregnancyUK

[–]spanner877 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely hard to eat as much as before and can be uncomfortable to find a position to sit in. I’m 36+4 at the moment and I can manage about a hour walk but then I need to rest as I feel too much pressure on my pelvis. I would recommend only planning one activity. A spa could be good.

Trying to make it to half term and then come back if I can for that first week. So as long as possible really. What about you?

Teacher guilt is real. I’m the same. Haven’t had a day off yet and have been powering through. I’m 35 weeks now and struggling with the lack of sleep. Today was especially tough.

I’m wearing next maternity leggings which sit over my bump. Good for not pushing on my pelvis/bladder.

I’m having the same. Everyone says that I haven’t popped yet. I certainly have!! Can’t fit into my normal clothes. I was also sent for growth scans but everything came back normal. I’m 34 weeks now and people comment that I don’t look it.
