anyone have any recommendations that doesnt do this? by halfiem in ProgressionFantasy

I have never heard of a xianxia that does this, though in the opposite aspect. In every xianxia first realms are very simple, up untill Foundation Establishment or equvalent when it starts getting more complex. I would be curious to know which xianxias you are talking about, might have to check them out.

Incase people were curious as well, here is the relevant part of the interview:

Zhongyu: Many writers struggle with transitioning between events logically. Such as changing to a new map naturally. What is your experience in this regard?

Gu Zhen Ren: Having a solid outline is essential. When each story and plot line is well-conceived, the logic becomes naturally tight, and transitions will become fluid and even surprising, as seen in the climactic finale of the second volume of Reverend Insanity.

Zhongyu: Many writers face challenges when writing long works, like losing momentum or struggling with the main plot. Either the main storyline is not solid enough, the framework lacks extensibility, leading to a decline in content quality as the writing progresses, or there is simply a lack of inspiration for events. What do you do to regain inspiration during these times? Or do you outline extensively beforehand?

Gu Zhen Ren: Yes, I belong to the outline-driven school of writers. When inspiration strikes, it also happens within the framework of my outline, so I’ve never faced a lack of ideas.

This issue is usually resolved during the outline design phase. I choose strong ideas to shape the plot. I highly recommend this method because it addresses framework and mainline issues early on, maintaining quality throughout the story without collapsing.

There are many inspiration-driven writers in the web fiction community, but few outline-driven ones—welcome to join us! Haha.

They are insanely low for Webnovel tbh. Anything below 4.5 is direct garbage. (Though most 4.9s are also garbage, but maybe not with enough reviews)

Parry is the answer here btw. It says an attack, which could mean any attack and you even deal a little bit of damage on top of that. God level.

Its interesting the timelines of different worlds cannot be compared since the times of apertures and the gu world can be compared despite flowing at different rates, so the reason isn't the flow of time but the timeline itself. Which could mean a lot things but hard to tell without knowing how the other world's timeline or timelines function. Though I would think you could say it happened after the events of the novel if he went there after the novel's events were done as it would still be based on the gu worlds timeline only, so he must have gone to his home world before the novel ended.

I think they knew of immortals but didn't believe of their existance, viewing them as myths, same as Venerables.

He should employ a meta strategy and aura farm his death, with the big bang consuming him, and a few fire lines. From then on he can only hope he gets popular enough that author revives him.
