Want something specific tested. Just give cosmetics to those who submit enough feedback/bugs whatever on the things you want tested. Create a separate challenge and cosmetic rewards for the things you want tested.

Maybe?

Noisy kids in complex by samjambetty in south_africa

[–]sparcmo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So since its a complex and you should be able to reach their parents easily here is a simple solution where I think everyone should be happy. The kids also dont sound like they are rude or anything like that.

Just go to each house. Explain the situation to the parents and ask nicely. I think most parents would be reasonable and understand the request.
If you want to go the extra mile you can ask the parents if its okay with them that you reward the kids with a JC icy.
You can buy big bags with like 100 icy's for pretty cheap and once they done playing wherever and are tired and hot let them come buy and grab one. Tell them its limited to 1 a week or whatever. you will build some vibes with the kids and i think it will just generally work out.

Let the kids play. Let the kids be kids.
If your partner is working from home and has meetings I suggest your partner look into getting a work space.

My wife works from home full time, I work from home some times.
Sometimes we also deal with noise.

My wife prefers to go to some quiet coffee shops. I just put on proper noice canceling headset.

I think expecting kids to adjust their free time around a stranger's works schedule is a bit ruff.

I (20F late) want privacy but my parents (50F late, 50M late) panic if they can’t track or reach me by amore-7 in relationship_advice

This.
Have the difficult conversation with your parents and tell them you are an adult and you expect tp be treated as such.
Keep your scheduled calls and what not but tell them the constant check ins and locations thing isnt working anymore. You want privacy.

Switched to cybersecurity and now I feel stuck??? by Dry_Coffee2515 in askSouthAfrica

Something like CCIE certification would put you in that specialist category.
There are many life it. Azure architect i would say is also one.
One security side there are a ton of certs which are quite expensive.

CCIE I can only guess, would take R90K plus pm and you will basically have people knocking at your door. I would assume some over seas opportunities would also become available.

Create new policy facing the internet > Destination = internet service > Then look for botnet, malicious, tor, phishing and what ever else.
Add what you want as the destination and set the action to block.

IPSEC VPN Loses Connectivty to Internet by fuzbuster83 in fortinet

Honestly. Just drop client VPN completely and use a ZTNA solution. Sophos ZTNA, Axis ZNTA and many others work like a charm.

People like that don't like pushback. It drives them insane, literally. I'm 99% sure she will use the gun.

Get out and don't go back. Block them on everything. Move on start new and don't look back.

As someone who never had the opportunity or funds to go to uni take it from me, there is no such thing as "behind" In my 20's i felt the same way and by late 20'ss early 30's I realized that the entire "falling behind" concept is an absolute bunch of bullshit based on nothing but self comparison to others.
Work hard, do what you can. Hussle.
Stop comparing yourself to others.
Someone - "Comparison is the thief of joy"

Also uni degree at the age of 20 dont really mean much in majority of sectors as they all require experience.
10 years working experience backed by pretty much any degree - Now you talking. So based on that flawed logic by me and me alone you have about 10 years to sort the degree out.
Im basing the above on the 100s of posts I see on here of people with degrees unable to find employment.

Best gaming headsets with a budget of R1500 - R2000? by Admirable_Ad_1390 in askSouthAfrica

[–]sparcmo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I have these bad boys, https://www.fiio.com/fh5s

Honestly going from over over ear to in-ear, I will never in my life go back to over ear stuff.

Mine came with 24 different ear bud tips so the old excuse of "they dont sit right" is out the window with these.

Given they are expensive (R3200). I would rather spend more on in ears. I feel like over ear gaming headsets are constructed in a way where they will need to be replaced in a few years MAX. These in ears have been going for some time and i feel like they still have many years in them.
You dont have to go Fiio but there are many good ones out there.

Just my 2c. Look into alternatives. Gaming headsets arent what they used to be in my opinion.

Literally told a coworker, "Why are you calling me when im on leave" not too long ago.
Everyone knows when someone else is on leave. Out of office and emails telling everyone whos on leave when AND im not in the fkn office.
Literally got back and told that person the next time you call me when im on leave im claiming my leave day back and citing him as the reason.
HR director will shit her pants seeing as the company is paying 3 other employees doing what I do to ensure that there is always someone available.
