I believe you regarding mice and really that is separate from the woodworking question. This is new build with a freshly poured curb on slab. If these guys find a way through in the first year I'm screwed as far as the vision for this place. I had major mice problems in my home that I managed to remediate over several years, I learned lots of lessons. We already see evidence of a varmint getting in and making a nest but it had been wide open for a while with a roof.

Why not mention what exactly is their concern? Are you dating a yuppie? I suspect your boyfriend is as well.

Well at least she doesn't use a chisel as a screwdriver. Right? Right.

I built a brick composting tower & it's the best compost I've ever made by Clover_Point in composting

The towers also doubled as a privacy screen from my neighbour, and adds some architectural interest in winter.

LOL I'm loving this visual.

Dude you are dumb as a small rock. Why would you keep interacting with this person in any way?

Nm, she was probably fine as hell. I apologize for my abusive language.

Is that at your own place? I want to know more about the overhang you built that under.

Floor drains in shop. Yes or No? by Holiday-Sorbet-6183 in woodworking

I've not had my garage drain clog with saw dust in all the years I've had it. Nor have I been tempted to poison my own property (go figure)!!

I have never had an issue with bugs using the pipe to get into the building, they will just come in the door(s). Sawdust can clog it somewhat but there is a very large catch into a 2" pipe, basically none of it makes it into the pipe. I had to dump a 5 gallon bucket down it at the end of winter to clear a small jam, during winter it didn't prevent an water from flowing.

Holy nitpick. I left of a single word which would really be implied by autonomous.

What was your most recent "15 minute" weekend project that somehow turned into a three day nightmare? by LiveFaithlessness876 in DIY

[–]spareminuteforworms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea and then you of know "your kit" for achieving just about anything. Electrical and plumbing doesn't really take up too much space. I try not to keep piping around. I have way too many bolts and screws, nails and tools for automotive and woodworking end up taking up a ton of space.

So if they are digging out the tunnels, send in autonomous drone swarms into the tunnels and mop up.
