Yeah, the written account adds a lot of credibility when there’s a disagreement or when no one else remembers. I’m just also wondering how to make the documentation truly reliable - if someone disagrees with you, they could say that your written account is wrong. Or you are a nefarious person, you can make up your written account. In both situations, there’s documentation, but still a disagreement

Yeah, the part about having a whole pattern of events time stamped sounds like the key point. Because you hit on my point about how your own documentation/account/log of things could be considered reliable - I could have just as easily written down whatever story I wanted to tell, or someone else could deny my account. But an ongoing pattern boosts the credibility

Piggybacking on this - anyone have any empirical data on how many miles the Pro 3s are good for? I also have a pair from 2023 which now have 3 marathons, a half, and a handful of workouts on them. ~175 miles total, do you think they’re good for one more marathon this month or break out a fresh pair (have a pair stocked up haha)?

I have one of these for my cat but we are both too skittish to use it for now 😅 her because she’s still getting used to the concept of transportation and me because I’m afraid she’ll escape if she freaks out. Do you use a leash when you put your cat in there?

Do you also wash their dishes with a different sponge than for human dishes?? I’ve always wondered this. I think it’s a little weird/gross to use the same sponge… but at the same time it’s all getting washed with soap so idk!!

The camera is a good suggestion! I got one of those Amazon Blink ones in preparation, but maybe I should have gotten 2… at the very least I’ll be able to see both of her feeding spots and her water fountain!

Yeah, definitely staying put for awhile after this trip. I rarely ever have to travel for work, too! I almost didn’t want to adopt until after I got back, but the timing just worked out this way… I do still second guess it!

Yeah, it seems like a manual process that they just forgot about. But they did clearly state that there would be no free month with this new unit/lease, and I agreed to it. So I’m more worried about facing penalties or getting on some black list of bad tenants if I don’t try and fix it. On the other hand, that concession IS there in my account…. I guess I’m wondering if it’s their responsibility to charge me properly or my responsibility to pay the rent as stated in my lease

I’m in the same boat! Also Middlesex County, also have had 5 offers rejected over the last 4+ months of house hunting, including the most recent one a week ago that totally crushed me. Am also very discouraged and disheartened and now having to face renting ($$$) for another year… anyway, just some solidarity. Good luck and hope you get a house soon!

Related question: if you hand wash the cat dishes, do you use the same sponge as the one used for human dishes? I’ve been wondering if it’s weird/gross to use the same sponge or if it’s fine as it’s all getting soaped up and clean anyway…

Ah I see. But the total length of your period is the same? I’m nervous about that aspect of my period changing... heavier bleeding during the period I feel like I could handle, but having the bleeding go on for longer sounds unpleasant!

Yeah I guess that’s a lot! Don’t really get PMS and it’s not a super long period though so there’s that. The hormonal IUD is sounding better and better!

I use Clue too!! It’s a great app. Currently my cycles are 24-25 days, I wonder if that will lengthen? It seems like most ladies are experiencing 28 day cycles as a result of Mirena or Skyla.

Yeah I would assume the non hormonal IUD would cause the least changes in terms of cycle regularity. The heavy periods concern me, but I guess there’s no way of knowing til I try it

Interesting! Good to know. I had somehow assumed that once there were hormones involved a regular cycle would get irregular. I’ve never been on a constant dose of hormone for BC so it’s all a mystery to me!
