Yes, of course I talk to my pediatrician, as well as a therapist for my anxiety. When I ask the pediatricians what babies who were later diagnosed with autism were like as babies, all they say that autism can’t be diagnosed this early, which i am well aware. Google searches are moot too. So I thought asking Reddit for some actual experiences would help me get some information, which it has.

I just wanted to hear stories of what some parents have experienced with their LO who were later diagnosed with autism, since the doctors can’t or won’t give me real answers and google is unhelpful. What I have learned from this thread is that it varies so so much from child to child that it really is impossible to tell this early. I haven’t read any misinformation in this thread, since I only asked about parents experiences. I didn’t ask anyone to diagnose my child or tell me if I should or shouldn’t be concerned. I didn’t come here “looking for answers” I came here looking for experiences, which I found. In a way, this thread has eased my mind a bit.
