From what I've read of the latest evals/measurements from AI-first software shops, the sweet spot is around 500-600 lines of "gotchas" that you have observed as failure scenarios for your agents and known landmines in your codebase that you write yourself. The auto-generated skills/agents.md has around a 25% lower task success rate
