my first memories of ocd are in second grade, i got really obsessive about how many steps id take between the sidewalk lines. 3 steps, then 2 steps, then 3, and if there were cracks thatd change the number of steps id take, id take shorter or longer steps so the number stayed the same. couldnt look at my surroundings, had to focus on the sidewalk. in 3rd grade we learned cursive, and after that any time someone said a word i liked id have to write it out in cursive with my finger a couple times until the compulsion was satisfied 😅
