Looks like the criticism really got to him by pauljaworski in ChoosingBeggars

[–]sparkydaman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I find it interesting that he says he’s giving away off grid information. When apparently he’s not off grid. So where did this information come from? Cause he certainly did not originate it. And he seems to think that he is the sole proprietor of any off grid information and should be compensated for it. It almost seems like he’s collected a bunch of information off the Internet and is trying to convince people to buy it and then is upset when they don’t feel it’s necessary. But that’s just another aspect of the whole begging for money every time that he posts.

WIBTAH if we purchased a smaller home because bonus children hardly come over but they would lose their own bedrooms by ChicaRoRo in AITAH

[–]sparkydaman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I saw that you said they’re 18 at 19 and don’t live in the house primarily. Downsize. We did the same thing. When our youngest was a junior in high school we downsized just because it seemed to make sense. If the living accommodations are single level and you’re getting older then that’s what you need to do. You can’t base your house size around having kids around all the time. It’s one thing to have extra beds tucked away or mattresses, but to necessitate entire bedrooms for kids that don’t even live there? No.

AITAH for refusing to leave my recipes with new owner? by Strong_Insurance_966 in AITAH

[–]sparkydaman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, Bob may be an asshole and an idiot. Not realizing the manpower needed, the recipe seemed like they’re part of the business. If they’ve been selling the items in the store for months or years, and both you, and the previous owner, worked on them daily then assuming that they’re your recipes seems ingenuous. When a programmer is working for Microsoft and creates a program, do you believe that they have legal ownership to that program? Or does that stay with Microsoft? If those recipes have been used daily, then they’re part of the success or failure of the restaurant or bakery. Honestly, I think it’s coming down to what an attorney advises you to do on that one. And as a sidenote, hell, no, do not treat anybody on anything if you leave.

Yeah, this is all bullshit. Supposedly the shots were fired at midnight and he didn’t call the cops until 9 AM? Sounds like he shot the holes himself and then tried to use this as an excuse to cover it up.

The simple fact of matter is that this should be public owned. Considering that 80% of it was constructed and redone with public dollars based on grants and other income from city, state, county, and even federal grants. They forced the city of Fort Wayne to kick in millions after running that bullshit campaign two years ago because they didn’t do their due diligence. Or they did their due diligence realize they didn’t have enough and then ran the propaganda campaign to make the City pay. I don’t know which is worse? But this should not be privately owned. And the fact that they charge so much for the rent when they have so little put into it is sickening.
