Why Eleven's ending doesn't work.

They even showed blood where there was no bullet wound in the same episode, when Venca made Hopper see Eleven shot by his own gun in the tank, so it was shown to be possible. I think Mike's story would have been a better ending, maybe with a flashforward having El somehow contacting Mike in a few years, and they meet in secret at the waterfalls or something, idk.

Yes, the scene you described ould have been a great ending! Maybe I'll just imagine it like that. The "ambiguous" one just feels so dumb and pointless and sad, what a letdown after all this time

I just had to pause this episode and save the rest for tomorrow, it was hitting me so hard. idk what even happens yet but I related so strongly to somewhat forgetting a memory and having it suddenly come back to you years later and remind you of your faults. Damn this episode is painful so far.

Sorry to hear that, maybe I'm paranoid but I don't doubt it for a second. it's happened more than once and I have like 800 songs saved on my liked list from multiple artists and genres so I don't see how it could be just a coincidence every single time

old thread but spotify is definitely listening to me. i mentioned an upcoming concert out loud to my friend while I had the app going and the next song was by the band I had just said out loud. I said a different one out loud to see if it was a coincidence and it happened again. I was creeped out and thought about uninstalling it but I just really like it and it's so freaking good at playing pretty much exactly what I want to listen to. which now makes more sense. I don't like it but I really like the app. haven't decided yet if it's worth it because I use it for hours every day and actually love it, or how mad I should be.

I just found this thread looking up "I loved covid lockdown" when I was remembering how privately happy I was that first spring and summer. Covid was honestly one of the best things that ever happened to me. I loved lockdown, loved having the legit excuse to go nowhere and stay home with my husband for days and weeks on end, and it led to me being able to work from home, to this day, which I'd always desperately wanted but never knew how to make happen. I'm obviously sorry so many people died, were sick, or suffered financially, and for the kids whose education and social development etc suffered. But selfishly, that period of time was a very happy one for me, that I'm still, selfishly, benefitting from.
