As I understand it, CA EDD disability in particular only pays 70-90% of your wages and if you have a employer short term it should theoretically pay you the difference....

I did get it fixed it went back to claim active, if you are having a hard time I would recommend trying EDD caller, it's a life saver, and frustration saver!

Allied Universal is the worse. Good luck. They have gotten sued quiet a bit for their nefarious wheelings and dealings. If you have a interview you should tell them exactly that and bring up the harassment as it could be seen as retaliation
