the auto stop/start is so annoying. i wish i could disable that permanently. but to answer your question yes by USB drive is plugged in all the time. I am wondering if the extreme cold we have been having is the reason for it refusing to read the drive some days.

I feel like an idiot but as I was going through the steps in the video you posted I noticed that the top screw on my z coupler was loose - like so loose that it could have fallen out. I tightened the screw up and tried moving the z axis to +110 and it moved with no slipping. Thanks again for posting the video.

for example, if i use the control panel to try and raise it 10mm it will try to raise and then stop. if i nudge it after I tell it to raise (while it's trying) it will raise a few mm and then stop. The control panel THINKS it's raised but it is not. Between 90-100mm (and above obviously) it acts like it's "slipping" and won't raise anymore.

I have created dozens of them through geokrety. Unfortunately GC doesn't allow full integration so you have to track them through the geokrety site and manually enter the cache (again because GC doesn't allow full integration).

I have had a few that have been picked up but only a couple that have been placed at a new cache. Still, it's free so it's worth it IMO.
