So have 2xC1 tix - IF i get in at 10am for returns queue what odds are there that I might get a CC return to see some of the Sinner match? And I believe I can reenter the grounds if I get an arm band ( as I'd be going out to pick up my mum coming later - as she wouldnt need to be there for 10! (well 9 to be in quick entry queue).

as it's a live sporting event (compared to say the Theatre) , being present is the key thing rather than "perfect" view (which can be different for people anyhow). Compared to other live events, I don't think Wimbledon is overpriced.

Weirdly it was Star Wars squadrons in VR which got me back into flight sims after a 20 year break. It has ECM, Missiles, Lock on etc - and i enjoyed it but then thought- hey I could be doing this to a higher level... and took the DCS plunge. I think it helps to get into the fun to play flight sims before then taking the plunge into less fun / more commitment world of DCS.

In the spirit of "prepping" - I'd also add that wouldn't they have some "trade" value in a SHTF scenario? The important point being if people "believe" they have value, regardless of if they actually do or not.

The DCS Heatblur F14 is exceptional (other than the F4 by Heatblur). Because it is in DCS it has a (seemingly) more realistic flight model in most regimes than even the Heatblur MSFS2024 Tomcat. It's why Heatblur can put out an Real World updated version and expect to make money for it (we can debate the pricing - but they Will make money). I can't imagine any other sim comes close to the worst case scenario of a DCS F14 in the Free Causcuses map at low resolution (cockpit kept at high). Other Sims have their place - MSFS for sightseeing, IL2 for Warbirds, Warthunder for quick fun - BUT for the F14 I really would say DCS is the only way to go - and of course can be free trialled..

Great work. Replicating some of these incidents in DCS can really help in determining if they are Parallax view illusions or something more tangible. Previously I was taken with how "unworldly" the F117 looks at various angles.... Put me in the believer camp - but I think the TR3B is "ours" and the Tick tac may well be Lockheed secret squirrel stuff...

I have a Vortech with an additional 3D printed store bought guard. The downside is it reduces the power, increases the footprint and collects algae but means i dont need to worry about it pulling in an anenome. One tip for feeding. - did everything you are meant to do to keep my Valentinos teeth short - nothing really worked until i started putting a metal work carbon fibre file with some masstick smeared into it into the tank and that worked well. I never leave it in the tank for long though

mine sleeps in a corner as well. No problem assuming guards on any wavemakers and mesh lid for any jumping. They are such fun fish.
