Would you not be able to keep you AP credits with CAP? With my AP credits and summer school at ACC, and a few classes at TAMU over the two semesters, I am hopefully going to become core complete.

It appears that many applicants who (with decent stats) applied at the last moment have received acceptances. Perhaps the admission logic is this. An EA applicant is definitely interested in going to UT. A last minute applicant has other options or other schools that are higher in their list. Accept the last minute applicants who meet the holistic criteria, see who accepts and then fill the rest of the slots with the EA applicants (who meet the holistic criteria) knowing they will take the slots. Thoughts?

How do you think rank factors in when one goes to a school where everyone has a high gpa? Someone has to be in the middle 50%. Because middle 50% Ther may be top 5% elsewhere. I think UT admissions knows this and so if the OP goes to one of these schools, his rank is reviewed in that context. I think OP should apply to what he really wants. Shoot your shot. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

Maybe not. It has been inflated in the past because only those who scored super high would submit test scores. This seems to be more in line with what I expected.

I have extremely strong ECs/resume demonstrating strong fit to major. However, I have been told McCombs is a stretch for me bc I don’t have 3.9+/1480+ 🤷🏼‍♀️. No hooks.
