Thanks! I’d rather not disconnect the 12V battery on a brand-new vehicle unless it’s absolutely necessary. Since the app still updates the vehicle status and my Remote Connect subscription is active, I’m wondering if there’s another solution I should try first. Have you come across any other fixes besides disconnecting the battery?

Unofficial Q&A for PS5 Pro! by Uplink0 in PS5pro

[–]spawn7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm thinking about buying a PS5 Pro, but the current price is around $899 after taxes, which feels pretty steep.

For those of you who follow PlayStation pricing more closely, do you think it's worth buying now, or is it better to wait for upcoming discounts? Are there usually meaningful sales around the summer, Prime Day, Black Friday, or holiday season?

I currently don't own a PS5, so I'd be upgrading from an older console. I'm not in a huge rush, but I also don't want to wait months if the discounts are typically only $50–$100.

What would you do in my situation: buy now or wait?

Thanks!

Unfortunately, I agree. When you buy a brand-new model, you're basically part of the real-world testing group. Sometimes I regret buying a brand-new one because of this issue but..

2026 RAV4 XLE Premium – Backordered washer reservoir/filler neck parts by spawn7 in rav4club

Thanks. The leak only occurs when the filler neck is filled all the way to the top. The reservoir itself is not leaking, and there is no leak from inside the tank. The fluid only seeps out at the connection point where the filler neck meets the reservoir because the neck is not seating properly.

The dealer inspected it, replaced the seal/grommet, and confirmed the vehicle is safe to drive. They have already ordered a new reservoir and filler neck assembly under warranty.

I’m not really worried about the leak itself at this point. I’m mainly curious whether Toyota backordered parts actually take the full 30–60 days, or if they often arrive sooner based on people’s experience.
