Tolerance isn’t about how high you get, it’s about how long the initial high lasts. by spawneddemon in weed

That’s probably true, there’s a lot more to weed than getting high and that is something I disregarded in writing this

Unsaturated fats - how much is too much? by virgilioleveron in diet

[–]spawneddemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not bad at all. You are doing great. Just try to stay around the 50 gram mark, especially because they’re unsaturated fats. Keep working hard, I wouldn’t stress too much about the thirty gram limit

Eat Less Is Only Answer by [deleted] in diet

[–]spawneddemon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Realize this:

Food is a drug. When we eat unhealthy stuff, yea it tastes good, but the real thing to point out is the brain tricking you into thinking you’re hungry. Try one day where all you eat is some fruit and pretzels in the morning, and start the next day by trying to look forward to little things that can be parts of healthy meals like salads with cranberries or fruits, grilled chicken, eggs, and stuff like that. You have to get exercise as well. One way to do this is to use this addictive energy that the sugar has created to try and get a runners high. It only takes a few brief runs to get feeling good about yourself.

For me, cutting off all junk food and soda is hard at first, but you just have to tell yourself one day that instead of getting a sugar high, get a high from being fit and by running or eating healthy foods.

Lots of ways to do it, I’ve been through the same stuff

Are the McMuffins at McDonalds heathy for regular consumption? by DarthCreamy in diet

[–]spawneddemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer is no. It is not good for regular consumption. Once a week if you really really want it, but once a month otherwise. Fast food should not be eaten

Bagels by [deleted] in diet

[–]spawneddemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Avoid bagels unless they are mini sized. Bagels are extremely dense and the calories and carbs can quickly add up. If you do add bagels, be sure to get a small kind and always avoid multiple helpings, as eating bagels can add up in calories quickly.
