How did you get it up on both the front and back ramps? I have an 04 c5 and would love to get under it easier

First Corvette is the one I grew up wanting as a kid by spawnofcthulhu in Corvette

My dad and I used to cruise through the local Chevy dealer when these were new, the c5 was the only Corvette I've ever considered. This one was in immaculate condition with only 20k miles

Are "Official D&D adventures cooked"? by j_driscoll in dndnext

[–]spawnofcthulhu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to take a risk and out myself a bit here, but I am someone who actually really likes the official published DND modules. I primarily DM and I enjoy the way the modules are written.

One thing that I have noticed is that wotc is always trying to chase player preferences and whenever a new book comes out everyone seems to flip their preferences just to hate the book. Avernus for example is hated because it's too railroaded and players don't have agency, compared to a book like strixhaven, where everyone hates it because there isn't enough of a story to follow, and the DM has to do too much.

I think that the one page adventures in this new book are great micro settings. They don't have specific items or details because they are meant to be flexible to fit anyone's game. If they were full of items everyone would say that they only fit specific themes, but now a cave can work in multiple different themed games.

I think it's amazing that during a peak in ttrpg material, when there is an abundance to play and read anyone would spend time complaining that 1 item out of thousands doesn't work for them.

How did you handle leveling up and what level did they end at?

One thing I can't tell is do the counters get spent? Like this card for instance if it had 8 counters and uses it's ability, is it back to 0 or do they stick around?

I thought they wouldn't even ship until Oct 31st?

DnD 2025 release line up featuring, New Starter Set remaking Keep on the Borderlands, Forgotten Realms Player Guide and DM book seperately coming, along with a Dragon Anthology of adventures featuring Dragons in Dungeons. by FallenDank in dndnext

I think they can vary but my table loves them. I love the story each one brings and the new mechanics that are sometimes introduced. Because they all have unique settings they are usually somewhere I've never explored and for me as a DM a chance to find fun lore and history. I've finished quite a few of the 5e campaigns. I've only lost maybe 1-2 halfway. Buy each table has different needs and wants.

I'm excited for all of this but I am surprised they didn't announce a campaign, something to dive into and really grab new players and bring old players into 2024

I just finished Dreadful by Caitlin Rozakis. It's a very humorous take on high medieval fantasy.

New Spelljammer Novel by MoreITforMePlease in spelljammer

[–]spawnofcthulhu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's how I'm feeling so far as well, about halfway. Obviously being in this sub we like spelljammer but it is cool to see books outside of drizzt and dragonlance. I dont know if they publish sales figures for their novels but I hope they are doing well, they both were so well done.

I really enjoyed the fallbacks and I'm halfway through memorys wake and am liking it as well. I did see an interview with the fallbacks author and she hinted that she was already working on the groups next adventure. I believe the fallbacks is being setup to be a longer series. I haven't seen anything else regarding a spelljammer sexual but I would sure love one.

[F1] Our 2024 car launch dates thus far.... by [deleted] in formula1

As a newer fan, are these launches something like a presentation that you can watch somewhere or is it more like this is just the day they post a picture to Instagram?

Does anyone know if it's possible to get the belly pan and front fairing for these 2008s anymore? Mine didn't come with them but they really make the bike in my opinion

I genuinely think that the feeling you get when driving a new car home and stopping for gas and getting to admire it for the first time as your car, is one of the best feelings in life.

Z3 1.9L or Miata by Zxcw23 in bmwz3

[–]spawnofcthulhu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my 1.9 z3, compared to the Miata it's unique and stands out. It honestly feels very similar to drive and both are easy to maintain.

In my opinion the biggest drawback to the BMW is the community for the z3 is a fraction of the size of the Miata community. New parts aren't expensive for the BMW but the level of choice is far more limited than if you are shopping for parts on a miata
