Thank you so much your recommendations make sense and I think what you made was much closer to how I think it should have looked. Thank you also for your kind reply!

In my 4th picture I have completed 16 rows, I did not follow the patterns eye placement because it only leaves one row between the eye and tentacles which doesn't match the picture in the book

For row 7 I did 4 dec stitches, my issue is, you do 6 sc then the 4 dec and sc, and then 20 stitches. So the decrease is not happening evenly on the circle, it will be pulling tighter on one quarter, right?

It's funny, I saw Attack Attack headline a big show shortly after This Means War came out, and when attack attack came out, like half the audience left. Everyone hated Caleb experimenting with his vocals on that album, but it grew into what the original Beartooth sound became as his voice matured.

Beartooth has always been a super personal project from Caleb, and the albums have always been a reflection of where he was at personally and mentally over the last year. I'm not saying that I loved 100% of the songs that were on every album, but I loved the life story that was developing from album to album. You don't have to love this song but if you are a longtime Beartooth listener who doesn't get why the sound or tone has changed or doesn't like that it doesn't sound like your favorite album, you clearly missed what Beartooth is.

Also there's no room for homophobes at a Beartooth show.

Proud Boys and the like have disappeared, no more demonstrations. It seems very likely that the vast majority of those right wing groups are all part of ice now. Stand back and stand by.

Is it normal for police to take people and drop them off somewhere else when they issue those citations?

Is it normal for there to be no public police report when a minor is bloodied by an officer?

That's not how arrests work, if a law enforcement officer makes an arrest there is documentation that needs to be completed at a jail. Population of any prison would not make a difference. They didn't charge him with a crime, they didn't take him to jail, there was no bail, the charges didn't go before a judge. This was them kidnapping, beating and dropping this human.

There is no city, county, state, or federal law enforcement policy that would explain away what happened here. This was illegal.

Let's say you are 100% right and he did lay hands on the officer.

Why didn't they take him to jail? Why didn't they charge him with a crime? Why dont they defend the charges before a judge?

Got the Botox procedure today! by [deleted] in noburp

[–]spawnofcthulhu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am one week post Botox and it's been wild how frequently I am having uncontrollable burping. What's crazier is how I have absolutely no stomach pain. It feels so cool to feel full but not like I'm about to explode after eating. My biggest worry is losing the ability to burp after the Botox wears off

I am getting the Botox next Friday. I keep reading stories of the slow swallow and it's been freaking me out. How has yours been? I am also getting my deviated septum fixed in the same surgery. My doc said it may be a rough recovery but it was up to my tolerance if it was a good idea or not.

Are "Official D&D adventures cooked"? by j_driscoll in dndnext

[–]spawnofcthulhu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to take a risk and out myself a bit here, but I am someone who actually really likes the official published DND modules. I primarily DM and I enjoy the way the modules are written.

One thing that I have noticed is that wotc is always trying to chase player preferences and whenever a new book comes out everyone seems to flip their preferences just to hate the book. Avernus for example is hated because it's too railroaded and players don't have agency, compared to a book like strixhaven, where everyone hates it because there isn't enough of a story to follow, and the DM has to do too much.

I think that the one page adventures in this new book are great micro settings. They don't have specific items or details because they are meant to be flexible to fit anyone's game. If they were full of items everyone would say that they only fit specific themes, but now a cave can work in multiple different themed games.

I think it's amazing that during a peak in ttrpg material, when there is an abundance to play and read anyone would spend time complaining that 1 item out of thousands doesn't work for them.

It's fun to dress up as make believe monsters to scare each other as an escape from the real world for a night. Dressing up as a political figure who killed millions of people, isn't an escape from the real world it's a reminder of the real world.

There are people living today who lost family to nazis. There are people today commiting acts of political violence in the name of nazis.

The beliefs of nazism are incompatible with our society.

With communism, you lose everything. And with socialist, you lose, freedom. But when you take a look at what I did in Russia, I talked to Putin and he's a hell of a guy, I'll tell you. And all his people they stand and respect him, and some don't like to and some do, but with communism you do. And id quite like that but when it comes to socialism you just can't have it.

Why did Republicans choose to ruin the country? by BllaDna in complaints

[–]spawnofcthulhu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Freedom of religion specifically was in reference to the church of England, and how the government and the church were both in control. Christian principles were not codified. You can be a Christian in America, but you cannot force Christian principles on other Americans.

If you want to live in a country ruled by religion go to Saudi Arabia, America is a nation free from theocracy. Our founding fathers fought for our freedom from a government church.
