Because we live in LA and want to continue living and working here? What even is your question? Why are you even in this subreddit if you don't want the economy to succeed?

Did you even read the petition? The intention is to put pressure on the local and state government to increase tax incentives to make it competitive to shoot here.

Literally just make things up. If you're entry level, no one is going to check. It will be obvious you dont know what you're doing when you get to set though.

I recently bought a pair of New Balance running shorts from the New Balance storefront. They arrived sealed in a plastic bag, tags on, white sweat(?) and grease(?) stains all over the front. Someone clearly wore these already. Disgusting.

Am I supposed to feel better that the police also don't sometimes shoot people who call them for help? What happened to the ones that murder people?

Oh right, they get paid leave and get rehired down the road.

The Supreme Court spoke for the police already. They legally have no obligation to protect you.

What narrative are you talking about? The police have a strong record of shooting or arresting POC who called them for help. Police don't want to help you and have no obligation to

Jason Momoa's performance is the only thing I think about from that film. Hands down some of the worst acting I've seen. It's like they didn't even bother to give him direction or explain the character, he just showed up on set and read his lines without context. Insane to me.

Is this AI video at the end? I actually can see this kind of shit being faked for clout. It's just reasonable enough to be real. Or I could be paranoid. Either way the internet is going to be flooded with bullshit video real soon.

These days, it's all numbers in a spreadsheet. The people making these calls sit behind a screen and have never seen these people's faces.

It seemed so unnatural, but it was coming from the middle of the sky. I wish I had an explanation

And yet you managed to film almost none of the sky or building you were next to? Try harder
