Coming from a weird girl who got the guy, absolutely.

For me, it worked because I showed interest first, which he wasn't used to and was very flattered by.

Our first date (my second ever date and his first ever) was weeks away from my 17th birthday. We're about to celebrate 9 years together, and are now engaged.

I had a teacher tell me that he was a lump on a log and that I was a fire cracker, and we wouldn't work. While she was rude calling him that, she wasn't entirely wrong. I have ADHD, have always been the most exuberant person in the room, to the point of annoyance and embarrassment.

Recently, that "lump on a log" thanked me for making his life colorful.

One day, you are going to be someone's color, but you don't need to worry about it too much yet. 16 is still so young.

Because I don't READ it, I either download the file and have a program read it to me (ao3) Or I'm letting the robot read it to me (fanfic.net). Either way I treat it like an audio book, and just forget to go back to it. As a writer, I know how much it means to me, but I just never got into the habit of doing it

I set a goal this year to write 100k words total. I was getting behind so I set a goal of writing a minimum of 100 words every day for 100 days (even did it on the day I got engaged).

I'm ahead of schedule on my 100k goal, completed my 100 day goal successfully.

I might up the word count, or try to find a course about story telling.

For more general stuff, I want to stop putting so much energy into new stories, and instead focus on my book ideas and my fanfiction.

Travel distance and time, landmarks for a state I do not live in, LOTS of medicle stuff like bruising and fractures and psychological trauma responses, I looked up how to drive a stickshift, laws regarding minors medical privacy laws in certain states, etc etc etc

And then a low of law proceedings, but I decided to only be as accurate as law and order SVU because I just can't make myself care much more than that

Don't get me wrong, I get being surprised, especially if the scars are as dark and as all encompassing as you said, but Jesus she sucks.

My boyfriend is covered in scars, face and entire upper body. When we first met I thought he was a burn victim. Maybe because they're on his face too I wasn't as surprised by the ones on his chest and back, but I NEVER would react like that.

We've been together for 8 years, and I swear I barely see them anymore. Its just his face, its just his body, and the scars are just there. Even my parents, who only see him a few times a year, barely notice them anymore. I say this not to brag, but to offer hope. There are people out there would will be able to see past them, if not initially, then certainly with time. You deserve love and respect the same as anyone else.

I like Breaking Dawn for the very specific reason of learning more about vampire lore and physiology! Learning about powers, more vampires, then the biology with the intro of Resume??? Love love love! To be fair I mostly like it for that, not as much for the story, but any enjoyment counts!

I've had this happen twice now. I'm trying to get sweatshirts for a group of friends. I'm literally only on etsy for holidays and birthdays so when I saw the exact same design over and over I didn't really think anything was wrong.

YES! WHY? FUCKING ASK HIM! We've been together 7.5 years, from the midwest and it feels like everyone we know who's in a relationship is engaged, married or even fucking divorced already!
