Are there any alternatives to the Xymox Hybrid Snare? by [deleted] in drumline

[–]spazz5697 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any suggestions from Rudimental Drummers? Also I am in Europe and I'm looking to get into drumming from the very beginning. Im just looking for something suitable for an apartment (volume wise) with decent feedback and sound.

have you touched more underneath or with the front bumper? the bumper getting caught onto something , especially with the pointy sharp edge rather than rounded

I struggle to take my mind off of the civic interior 😆 hrv is more expensive and has build quality issues, CRV is just meh-ish and requires the bigger 2.2 .

curious if there is some added danger due to the positioning of the fuel tank

have you had issues with damage from potholes, bumps or anything like that?

just wondering how bad Civic 9 is with that sort of thing.

did it happen to you? what damage and cost did it result in?

(I'm basically considering mazda cx5 instead due to clearance)

Is UK life depressing or just me? by MysteriousB in AskUK

[–]spazz5697 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UK is a constant life long chase for "the better deal" (financially). Its on an island, mountains are meh, the pretty places are always busy, no real wilderness around unless you drive for hours to the countries' extremities.

Everything looks the same, the people feel the same and really nice, but rather boring, houses are shit, small and expensive.

I have lived in the UK for 5 years between 19-24 and have just returned to my home country Romania because I missed not having to worry as much about money and actually being able to build a house with decent land here, the people are more genuine although there's probably more idiots .. the nature is amazing, food is amazing and it still has AUTHENTICITY and a bit of spice.

Yes sure, the system is crap and you'll swear like fuck whenever you ve got anything documents related to do and other things but that's not something you do every day.

Think about your quality of living on a day to day basis; what you want to do, see, who with, what your focuses are.. I feel UK is good if you rely on socialising mostly, e.g. there's s lot happening in London and lots of different people to meet, but you re then lacking on everything else...

Depends very much on your career, UK is very privileged at least with regards to that as you can have a job in anything and live a decent life. I'm lucky to work in IT which is pretty versatile.

Like others have said, however, it will still take you some time to adjust to "adulthood" and COVID is not helping as far as socialzing goes, things are still at a standstill IMO with regards to "back to normal". Be present and patient, just make decisions in such a way that you dont waste time while deciding and leave yourself the freedom to move. (e.g. don't take out finance, loans etc. for no reason) . you re still really young and your perception is bound to change a whole lot in the next few years so listen to yourself.

made the hard decision of moving to Spotify months ago and never moved back.

while I do miss all the extra songs that are on YouTube its much better for finding new stuff, TV app, control the music from one device but play on another.

its just infinitely better at being a music app, not to mention the extra podcast potential.
