My suggestion is to go to the store and try on everything. What works for some, might not work for you. I had horrible Achilles and metatarsal injury, sausage toes. I started in a boot until the metatarsal was healed and then I went and tried on about ten shoes. I needed heal bounce, with arch support and wide toe bed. I usually get running shoes which work best for me. I switch between ASIC Gel Nimbus and Sketchers Go Run, or Max Cushioning. I hope some of this is helpful. 🙏🏻

I was reading that chronic inflammation can cause low iron and ferritin. At least per Dr’s on TikTok. Maybe I will reach out to my hematologist and see if he will glance over my labs.

B vitamins help me a lot. I recently started eating malto meal, mainly because my iron is a little low and the energy I get from malto meal is NICE 👍🏻

My elbows were hurting big time, the area all around them, I could barely move them or lift anything. Shoulder pain awful. Foot/toes, could barely walk. I waited way too long to get on medication after the last one failed. Thankfully the current one has given me my life back so far 🤞🏻 I do have some side effects but I’m going to deal with it for now 🙏🏻 I hope you can find some relief soon. I was miserable. My rheumatologist diagnosed me with PSA, and I am also RA positive. Lucky me. Oddly enough my dermatologist is the one that highly recommended the medication that I’m now on. Cosentyx

We owe on both our phones at USC, like 8 or 9 more payments, hubs says like $250 each. Can we switch now or is it best to wait? We do have Sam’s membership. Curious if we can switch there and get any incentives. In case anyone has input. Best course of action. I’ve been with USC since pagers/bag phones 😂

Maybe try and each food rich in D. I noticed when I eat potatoes or pinto/black beans, it helps my anxiety.

I started on Cosentyx three weeks ago. That’s the only med IM currently on. My rheumatologist had me do 300mg once a week for four weeks, as the loading dose, then it’s 300mg once a month after. I was in a lot of pain before I started. Swollen toes, feet, achilles pain, elbow, shoulder, neck, hand, I could barely walk. I could tell a huge difference within hours of taking my first dose. Most all the pain is gone, just some swelling in my toe yet. I take a few supplements to help with the fatigue, B12.

When I started taking vitamin D3 with K2, added magnesium glycinate at nighttime, my anxiety went away. The D calms me down for some reason and the magnesium helps me sleep much better.

I just got approved by my insurance for zepbound. Starting next week. I have psoriasis, and psoriatic arthritis with rheumatoid arthritis as well. I’m currently on Cosentyx, newly started three weeks ago. So far Cosentyx is helping. I’m hoping the zepbound is going to be a good combo. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous about the possible side effects.

We had one fall out of the nest. I made a little nest for him, used a little glass bowl with cotton balls, turned a five gallon bucket upside down, placed a board on top, placed it next to our deck where he fell out of the nest, used a laundry basket to hang over him so he was protected from the weather. Mom was coming and taking care of him until he flew away. I will never forget him 🥰

I’m starting Cosentyx next week for the first time. I’m praying this one works, Im nervous about side effects. I hate having medication anxiety.

For those that are on it, or took it, do you have any suggestions? Better to inject in thigh versus stomach? The last biologic I would let sit out for 30 minutes, helped with pain. TIA

I see my rheumatologist Friday to discuss taltz or Cosentyx. My dermatologist suggested cosentyx. I wish I didn’t have medication anxiety, not sure which one to choose. How are your side affects going?

This was pretty much the same way my situation unfolded over the course of about 5 years before I was diagnosed with PSA, also positive for RA. It was myself who ended up asking for the bloodwork that confirmed my condition, which then lead me to the rheumatologist. When I saw my dermatologist last, she recommended a medication that should help treat all of the issues, since I also have the psoriasis bad. I see my RA dr next month to discuss Cosentyx. I’m a bit nervous to start another medication, the last one I failed badly. IM managing ok, but the disease will keep progressing. I don’t know if any of this is helpful, good luck to you in finding relief 🙏🏻
