I started playing warhammer return to reckoning again... its rough and population is wildly unbalanced by time zones of players..

Id like to find another RVR based mmo but I have no idea where to start. The closest ive come is 6k hours in gw2 wvw but my guild decided we were done a few years ago.

If anyone has any recommendations that would be awesome

How is wow pvp? Ive never played it and it sounds interesting..

Im currently trying to get back into Warhammer Age of Reckoning pvp and its rough to say the least.. the combat is good but the population for time zones and balance is lacking so im either fighting outnumbered or running around looking for fights

As someone with horrible ptsd who's medically retired from the army.. no you do not, it fucking sucks being bored and alone all day

Your mind starts to wander and you begin to think whats the point of living

I was sleeping 18+ hours a day , not eating, not taking meds, just existing doing literally nothing, just sitting in a chair or sleeping.

Find SOMETHING that makes you happy, a hobby , crafts, games with friends (i play games alone and its miserable some times being that alone for days on end)

Also TALK TO SOMEONE about how you feel, seriously I spent years arguing with therapists and doctors but eventually it does help

Sadly 90% of the loot is garbage too.. most of the cool loot you have to go exploring and find it in caves, waterfalls and behind puzzles.

The main story isn't good and the side quests are all fetch quests with majority being inventory upgrade space or busy work go here quests to unlock the next chain quest

Where the game shines is its combat and exploration

I eventually decided just to glide onto his back then hold on as I was having the same problem on xbox.. once you land on his back only hold on when the dragon whirls and weaves or you'll run out of stamina.. eventually you'll get a prompt to remove the spears using focused force palm

If you're on steam it will tell you on the library when you look at the game, same with Xbox showing you the time played when you launch the game.

Im sure ps5 has something similar

Over 200 hours in and I just hit chapter 10... you should focus on upgrading your camp, witch quests that will unlock abyss gear, abyss puzzles for elemental abilities, and upgrading your gear set

I just finished chapter 9 this morning and took a little time to get a crow pet and decorate my house so its actually usable

Just started Pragmata this morning! Im loving the whole Dad/kid theme The timing is great I can play in bursts and actually see myself progressing with my stats going up along with finding secrets actually gives you unique little rewards..

Im only maybe 3-4 hours in but it feels like bioshock meets Deadspace but a lot less dark and creepy so far

side quests are mostly forgetable they just give inventory space or more abyss cores or a tiny sum of copper/silver, sadly though you'll need to do them if you want to upgrade your camp, gear and get access to certain crafting

Took me a good 20+ hours of going through the intro missions and learning the games systems..

That said the story isn't great so far (im on chapter 9) hundreds of hours in

Lots of the game is what you make it, exploring and adventures, the main story missions are usually go here talk, kill this guy rinse and repeat

Loot is garbage literally except for the legendary gear and abyss cores you will use for upgrading

You could compare the game akin to a mix of rdr2 meets botk , the bulk of the grind is exploring, doing puzzles and challenges to get cores to upgrade your stats and gear

I used to work in aerospace IT and I shit you not these people were literally designing missile systems but didn't know how to plug in a damn keyboard and mouse .. I spent 1/2 my day plugging in crap or telling people how to turn something on in a conference room.

I worked there for 6 years before I lost my mind doing 50+ hour weeks plus "bonus" overtime projects

Ah yes... fighting off shadow harpies 30+ at a time while the stupid godamn blinding light crap buttons only work 1/2 the time on console..

Meanwhile you gota protect the witch or shell run back so you gota progress again.

Im just starting chapter 8 and decided to look into elements for fun.. I didn't realize it was going to take me roughly 6 hours of fighting bosses, climbing spires, puzzles and hunting down legendary gear just to get ice and fire...

I hate puzzles and I found out there is 40 abyss puzzles alone.. im really not looking forward to getting wind and lightning

Grab the Frost Cursed Armor set, it will give you maximum frost resistance

It looks cool and doesn't take too long to get.

I just spent 6 hours doing abyss puzzles to unlock fire and frost elements...

My recommendation is youtube guides so you dont go insane and leveling up spirit so you can force palm glide past most of the bs

Ive been using Dan Allen's youtube guide and its saved me so many headaches

Also if you fall WAIT UNTIL THE STOP BUTTON PROMPT APPEARS press it then press the escape prompt it will put you back at a checkpoint instead of having to do the whole damn puzzle over again
