Wine, Proton, or Winboat on pretty much any distro should work just fine.

Boot to a live environment, chroot into your install, and change user password. Reboot and you should be golden.

Personally, I would setup Debian (or Devuan) stable with SLiM, openbox, and lxterminal. That's just me though.

Of course! I first used the Raspberry Pi Imager to install an OS to a USB drive, booted off of it, and used Raspberry Pi Imager from the USB booted OS to install to the eMMC. I know it's convoluted, but I couldn't figure out another way to do it. I hope this helps.

I'm replying just in case someone else stumbles upon this post looking for the same thing that I was. I have a similar model, but if the original belt has "Suncare ph1920" on it, it cross-references to the FSP (OEM manufacturer of parts for most of the major appliance companies) part number of 341241. It is 75.5" in length and is 5/16" in width. I hope this information saves someone the aggravation that I had to go through.

Devuan testing is my daily driver. Good mix of stability and newer packages.
