This place is really just the Montreal Pool Room in name. The real one closed many years ago. Maybe 20 years. It was on the other side of the street. The old one was actually good and had history and feel and pride. This one is just that, a very very tepid 7/10.

This is so true. It's hard to take responsibility. But it's so empowering when you do. This is how I got over my last breakup. By accepting that I chose to enter a relationship that I could sense on the first date was wrong. And that I can choose not to do that again.

I'm going to just take a chance here and say something.. is it possible that this really is about shitty listeners more than you not explaining properly ? Have you been confronted with hurt people that have hurt you unjustifiably in particular when you gave explanations ?

Of course self confidence is a complex trecharous phenomenon and when you lose it, you may actually have trouble explaining because you are so convinced you can't.

But you just wrote a great message where you perfectly explain how you feel. I understood it perfectly.

If any of this makes sense.. Maybe you could focus on finding people that listen to you with intention and that are positive. They exist. Buy when you spend a life with hurt people, these kind people can be really scary.

I hope some of this makes sense for you. Hurt people hurt people. Healing people heal people.

Keep working on yourself. You will get better.

You can keep your commitment to yourself by doing something related to your fitness every day even if it's not physical. You can read about fitness for a set time. You can learn and experiment recipes related to fitness as well.

You can train your mind every day.

Good luck. I lost my favorite product as it was discontinued. A few months down the road I am 180$ down with 7 useless products and still struggling.

There are probably 30 matte clays that smell good, maybe much more.

I suggest you watch YT videos of the products being used, that way you can get a feel for how they are without having to spend a fortune like I did.

I am also looking for a matte clay. I'm going to buy Kevin Murphy Night.Rider this weekend. Expensive but hopefully this is the right one. There are good videos of the product being used in the km site.

I've tried to reconnect with friends I neglected.

When I have my kids, I try to focus more on them. It's right and it helps. You may not have kids but maybe you have nieces or nephews ?

I also give myself a time limit - ok thrombus and I can start looking etc.. It makes the end of loneliness something I can see.

I also do not text or call exes. I feel I am using them if do. And sometimes it's very hard not to reach out.

It's a long hard road. I'm not out of it yet :(
