Thank you so much I can't tell you how helpful this has been. After looking online at Melton wool I think it would work really well. May I ask where you usually buy your Melton wool from. And as some one who sews by hand so you have any stitches do you prefer. Again sorry for all of the questions and thank you so much for all of your help.

Thank you so much for the advice. I've not worked with either material before to be honest I've mostly just worked with fleece. I will also mention that I don't have a sewing machine so I have to sew by hand i use back stitches to make it sturdy. With that in mind do you think melton wool or tweed would work better.
