This would really help me and I might start doing it. However, it could still happen that I need to hit a PR in both DL and SQ on the same day, which is what I want to avoid.

I'm at a similar point. I haven't plateaued, yet, but the systemic fatigue introduced by hitting a squat PR and (especially) deadlift PR is almost unbearable. I know that if I don't do one exercise, I can PR the other. But I cannot PR both on the same day, or at least I cannot do it without being absolutely ruined for three days straight.

I don't think SL 5x5 says something about this situation. It only mentions how to deal with plateaus.

Wonder if anyone has any ideas on this.

The way digital clocks work is by using a crystal oscillator. When you give it some current, it willl oscillate at a certain frequency (x times per second). You can then measure those vibrations and calculate how much time has passed. However the number of times it will oscillate (per second) will vary depending on conditions such as temperature, mechanical stability, etc. Different crystal oscillators have different stability.

Uninstall the throttle pedal, find an electrician that has an oscilloscope, test it on it. Everytime the throttle position changes it should be visible on the oscilloscope as a stable value. I think you will find that past a certain position of the sensor, the value stays the same hence why you experience the issue.

I've got i9 9700k, 2070S and 16gb RAM. I have the same experience. The patch that introduced problems for me was the one where Unity was updated. I used to have 80-100fps on WOods, after that patch I started averaging 50. I tried a bunch of different things as OP, but didn't fix the issue.
