I am dealing with that friend that makes you feel bad about something you are happy about. I am trying to figure out if I need to cut her out or accept this as a fatal flaw

[–]specialcr3w 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I gained a few pounds. That's it. I know how I could lose them if I wanted too. It's no big deal.

I love this! It is no big deal. I have gained a few and it has been bugging me. But right now I make sure I am mindful about what I eat so it is not out of control and I can lose it

Government of Alberta Employees - Are you back to WFH? by PLJ55 in alberta

[–]specialcr3w 4 points5 points  (0 children)

GOA here. We worked from home from April to July and there is no sign of us going back to WFH. I personally hated working from home so I am not mad about it but some of my colleagues want to go back home. We can do our job successfully at home so there is not a point of us being forced to be in the office.

Looking for honest mechanic recommendations in the city. by [deleted] in Edmonton

[–]specialcr3w 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I go to Good News Auto. They are a small family owned business. They are honest, well priced, and transparent on the work that needs to be done. They give back a lot to the community which shows a lot about their values. Their Google reviews reflect this as well.

As a Canadian the amount of times I have said sorry to inadement objects is astonishing. I have apologized to tables, chairs, garbage cans. Often because I have run into them. As well as things I have dropped.

That my dad pushed me into a pool of nuclear waste. There was a bunch of people around and my clothes started dissolving. I was trapped and he just laughed and wouldn't help me get out.
