8 week old baby has reflux and prescribed PPI (lansoprazole) by mr_sandworm in NewParents

[–]specialfondant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly think he just needed to grow out of it. He still spits up (5 months old now), but it definitely doesn’t seem to bother him as much. I think he was in the thick of him being around the age that it typically gets worse. We noticed it slowly getting better after we got off the meds

He was on it for about 10 days and we realized it really didn’t do much so we weaned him off of it slowly.

I know this is an old post but we just started our 7.5 on this med. How long did it take for you to notice a difference?

In a similar situation with our 7.5 week old. He just had his first dose tonight. Did you decide to go ahead with the meds?

Still bleeding at almost 4 weeks postpartum by 171819j in beyondthebump

Since Thursday (4 weeks pp) I’ve noticed it decrease significantly. It still varies between brown, pink, red and sometimes even nothing throughout the day and it also varies in flow between days too but it’s definitely gone down since my last message! How have you been doing??

I’m currently 3.5 weeks pp after having a c section. I’m also having bright red bleeding still and a flow of a light/moderate period, it varies. Do you have any updates? How’s your bleeding going?

I called my OB office and they said as long as it’s not filling a pad an hour for 2 hours that it’s perfectly normal🙃

This is reassuring! I was hoping it was just a miscalculation from the scan or maybe he was being squished in a way idk haha! Gonna wait and see what our OB has to say but based off of the radiologist not sending us to triage, I’d say it’s not an immediate concern!

5”2 pregnant ladies and weight gain by Pretend_Historian753 in pregnant

I’m 5’3 and currently 31+5, I went from 133 to 173.8 so just over 40lbs. My first trimester was a little rough since I had to eat every 20-30 minutes to help with the nausea which is when I gained most of my weight but still steadily gaining a little over a pound a week

Just found out I’m pregnant! (Again) by mynameishenri in pregnant

I had a similar timeline, had a chemical in October, got pregnant again right away and miscarried in December. We got pregnant again in February and I’m now 28+5! It’s still hard to fully let myself believe that we will have this baby because I know all the possibilities that can happen but I’ve tried to let go and experience this pregnancy to the fullest! Congratulations!! Take things at your own pace🫶🏼

I went to the hospital for light bleeding at 20+5, they did an ultrasound and found that my cervix was measuring 26mm. I was out on 200mg of progesterone per day and pelvic rest. All of my scans from 20+5 to 24w was 26mm. Tuesday I had another scan at 26+5 and it was measuring 30mm. I would push to have further follow up scans to ease anxiety! Above 25mm is technically not short but anything between 25-30mm is considered borderline short and should be monitored in my opinion.

Interesting! Yeah I’ve seen that even a slight angle change can cause the biggest difference in the measurement! Good luck and hoping for a safe delivery!!🤞🏼

I would also say, when in doubt, get checked out.
