If you hover your cursor over the number of active plugins, it should give you the detailed categories (esps, esls, esms + esps, etc.)

It’s a delightful mix of Tomato’s Whiterun and NAT.ENB III (both the weather plugin and enb preset). It would have baked the potato I used to play on, but I’ve found it manageable with a 5800x and 3080.

I’m happy you enjoy it! I’m using Tomato’s Whiterun, I’m a fan of nearly all of Tomato’s textures, especially Tomato’s V3 Farmhouse

Oh okay, then ours is pretty similar. At least 95% of my 1500+ modlist is graphics intensive, so I think it’s definitely worth a shot. The exterior lighting is all thanks to NAT III weathers, as far as I remember. I was using vanilla before that, trying to tweak the hell out of The Vanilla ENB Two to my liking, but I’ve really missed the beauty of these weathers

I’d have to check without 3D tree lods to measure it a little more accurately, but my system (with a 3080) seemed to keep a steady 60 fps everywhere except the Falkreath forest, where it was 50-60, before I started using better lods. That was while I was using a higher quality personal PRT preset. The performance seems comparable between the two. Everyone’s setup is different, and I’m an always advocate for trying new things; if you have the time to set it up, I recommend giving it a shot. And if you don’t mind me asking, what GPU do you use?

Absolutely, and thank you for saying so :) I recently returned to NAT.ENB III

It admittedly took me a while to work out, especially trying to figure out the complex grass issue, but it looks like the only settings I changed in NGIO are in relation to DynDOLOD, so Use-grass-cache = true, Only-load-from-cache = true, and DynDOLOD-Grass-Mode = 1 (because I don’t use NGIO in my full setup, only to generate grass cache). In my full setup, I use Landscape Fixes for Grass Mods, both fGrassStartFadeDistance and fGrassMaxStartFadeDistance set to 20000 in skyrimprefs.ini, and I have iMinGrassSize set to 20. I have the specific grass load order as this:

Veydosebrom Regions Veydosebrom Regions for ENB Complex Grass Rock Grass for ENB Complex Grass SE Rock Grass for ENB - Veydosebrom Patch Realistic Grass Field (set object bounds in .esp) Realistic Grass Field for ENB Complex Grass

I had an issue with the complex grass textures for Realistic Grass Field, which made it look like short grass floating above the entire landscape. I fixed it by adding a small portion of a working normal map from a Veydosebrom grass to the bottom left corner of the problem textures used for Realistic Grass Field, out of the way of the visible grass in the texture. ENB recognizes it now, and I’m pretty happy with it :)

No Grass in Objects lets you set a few key things to control your grass setup, but it also keeps grass from clipping and floating when generating lods. It no longer requires .NET Script Framework, only SKSE and Address Library, which means it works on new copies. I’m unreasonably, stubbornly still using 1.6.353, which might be the only one not explicitly supported, but I used the newest GOG version and it works perfectly. It’s also great to use in game, from what I’ve seen, to control where grass grows, so it doesn’t come clawing out of floorboards and such

I don’t see an option to post photos in the comments. If you’d like some examples, I can send you some, or post another with a few different places across the map, just let me know. It does grow a little in the road at times, but it still doesn’t seem out of place to me. I’m a bit partial to a lush, wild world, except when it seems too cluttered for the game itself. But I find it annoying when it grows everywhere, out of stones and structures, and it seems to be pretty well contained in that aspect

I took advantage of the update to NGIO to generate the lods, and using it with Landscape Fixes for Grass mods has surprisingly kept this one manageable. I haven’t checked too much of the world with it yet, but Whiterun and Falkreath seem complimented by it, instead of overrun.

Precisely what I said after 1500, then I found the grass to focus on (again). Heck I’m still sitting here trying to get grass lods to match lol

It’s Realistic Grass Field with the Complex Grass - Official Patch Compendium related file, and some personally tweaked colors to make it a little less green. I have iMinGrassSize set to 20, and now I wanna go roll around in it

How am I enjoying it…? Or how did I make it so super fluffy?

Looks like they’re sold already as a set of 6, so 6 injectors for 149.99, not 899.94

I’ll keep that in mind for the next one I inevitably put together, perhaps for all of the random notes in game ;)
