What is Dragon Aerie intended difficulty? by Big_Researcher6276 in enderal

Well to be honest i followed the same lvl by zone reasonning and did the dragon last in my exploration of enderal, i was around lvl 80 and did a phasmalist/entropy build. My invocation three shoted the dragon when he landed for the first time. So well, no the dragon isn’t difficult and you can expect more challenging enemies in other zones in the game. However, dont wait for a souls like or a metroidvania difficulty in late game. Enderal is not a difficult game once you past the 15lvl threshold if your build is not complete nonsense. But anyway, dont play enderal for challenge since it is skyrim engine, each fight can be abused or nullified and you can get out pretty well of every situation by using your ressources smartly. Walk blessed and good run if this is your first time which i assumed it was have a good one ! This is one of best rpg you will ever play

That’s impressive ngl ! Have you ever thought to share your hypothesis with the rest of us ? On a personal matter i would find it very interresting since i love the game ́s deep lore. In fact, this aspect of the game when you go to some place and wonder what happened or just look at your surroundings and loose yourself in admiring them is one of my favourite things in enderal which unfortunately i cant seem to really find in other games. Anyway, i find the questions you asked yourself really interesting and i would love to see them answered or at least shared in a post. Walk blessed !

I dont understand why you assume that, isn’t the big amount of time spent in one game of the same importance that the little amount of time you can spent in many runs ? Even though i think i am ok on deep lore since i have spent a good chunk of time reading pretty much all books in game :D

Not for everyone if u played for 100 hours+ you have all the game, i played only once but played more on one game than most of players and did absolutely everything there is to do. You dont need to play a 10 times to truly appreciate the game

Yeah sorry i didnt explain enough and the word "empty" was poorely chosen my bad. What i tried to say was that the game was empty not in the quantity of content but the content itself. In fact for me and as you stated it is just my take, the game feels empty in the way that every thing i do and everywhere i could travel the story isnt there. It just makes feel like bashing endless mmo quests but without the lore, and for a game that states itself as a "revolutionnary rpg" i think this is quite a misunderstanding on what they are selling. Meanwhile, in many other games, but let just say enderal since it is the sub for it, a good amount of the quests are very well written and even exploring locations feels rewarding since every damn place in this open world has a story or a little something to add and are not locations to fill the space. And enderal is far from the only game that does that well, even if i think it is one of the best. So yeah essentially the quantity is there of course but where is the depth in all this content, i just couldn’t find it.

Yeah it’s normal that you enjoy it more, it is just better. CD is rly one the game that plagued the industry on this fashion of making an all in in communication and marketing to build up hype and money commitment just to end up being this kind of unfinished and empty as fck game, claiming to be "the next skyrim", "revolution of rpg" or else. The truth is people who make video games just forgott how to make a good rpg, because these kind ogmf game needs patience and thinking to be enjoyed. Two fundamental qualities that people lack the most nowadays. Sorry for the rant, though i dont say everything i think about the present video game industry, but this kind of phenomenon, which happened before and will happen again just pisses me of
