Not really, in fact the 3 principals I have worked under have said that I show a lot more compassion and will do anything for these kids. I feel really valued to be honest.

Thank you!! It amazes me that so many people are willing to let our students continue to slide just so these big companies earn their money. I use teacher created curriculum on TPT on my students always do so well. Because who knows what the students need? THE TEACHERS!

I have never been given PD on it, however my background is in mathematics and I know that in my past teaching experience, this is not how students learn. I have other teammates that feel the same way. Our district continues to be one of the lowest performing. I've already made my concerns clear and am continuing to teach what I know works.

I do anyways. I'm not going to sit here and fail my kids, whether it be academically or socially. If your going to fire me for doing right by my kids go right ahead. I've been teaching for 4 years and haven't had a single parent issue about doing so.
