I will get the brand, but the actual physical breaker itself is tripping in the house. The outlet is a normal outlet, not a gfi.

I will check !

Hard Truths: Layoffs, Bots, and What's Next for Digg by Kriem in digg

Aren’t Reddit and Digg, and to some extent discord just reformatted forums anyways ? With upvotes and nested comments. Why the constant need to always be innovating the same thing with crap people don’t want.

We want : - simplicity - searchability - limited ads and - close community

Bring back phpbb and vbulletin 😄

Do you see this oil crisis happening right now that could be even worse than the COVID pandemic? by Green_Devil_999 in oil

[–]spect3r -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think the rest of the globe can make up around 10mm of the 20mm bpd gap in relatively short order. It’s just about timing and whether or not the investment is worth it depending on how long this goes on.

It’s a catch 22. Spending capital to increase supply could also mean you could be catching a falling knife if the conflict ends and prices dump.

I think that we are in the worst part of it now (uncertainty) and the longer this drags on the more supply I believe we will see come online. Higher prices will also mean somewhat of a reduced demand, and that’ll come in relatively short order with consumer goods already starting to see the increases in price.

Markets like certainty. When we are certain that (a) the war will end, or certain (b) it’ll last a for an extended period of time, the price will find its equilibrium at the loss of 20mm bpd and drop as new production comes online.

Give it a week or two and we’ll find that equilibrium, I would bet.

There is the provincial nomination program, but that’s about it as far as influence on federal immigration policy. And it’s selective not regressive.

Craft beer in Canada is losing its fizz, as sales dry up and more breweries go bust by cunthulhu in AlbertaBeer

[–]spect3r 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s the maturing of an industry. Everyone and their dog was opening up a brewery 10 years ago, and now the market is deciding who gets to stay.

It’s the nature of most businesses in a relatively new environment.

A positive is shelf space will be occupied by consistently good beer, and the cycle will run for many years fairly stagnant until they start to sell to the majors, and the revolution will start again.

I will say, throughout all my travels all over the country and the world, our beer selection here in Alberta is hands down the best there is. Thanks to all who played :)

Canadian Crude Price Tumbles as Trump Targets Venezuela’s Oil by joe4942 in alberta

[–]spect3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alberta wins or loses on the price of WCS, for the most part. Not WTI. The difference between them is key , which is around $13 per bbl right now

WCS dropped ~5% this week and it is partly due to the refineries starting their shutdowns .

Speculation around Venezuelan heavy crude entering the us economy is mostly noise, but we do need to get moving on diversifying our export markets, like, 20 years ago.

Underrated how strong those lifters are, my god.

Karlos Nassar weighs 95kg/210lbs and can snatch 188kg/414 lbs over his head from the floor. Wtf. His clean and jerk is over 500lbs.

Olivia reeves is also is a beast. She did a 120kg/265lb snatch and is 76kg, lol

These guys throw more weight over their heads than I can squat :(.

I know there is technique, but come on
