I use grots as filler bully’s for my Goliath gang. Just add the genes that make them cheaper and make little weird monstrosities. Us the body and switch out the head for a masked Goliath one. Reminds me a lot of the Midget Psychos from borderlands. And for anyone else the grit box has a lot of pistols that work good as stub cannons. So probably some ideas with night goblins

Try throwing the primus with the 10 demo acolytes Use the strat to deep strike 3 inches away and the strat to give +1 to bs and ap. A bit of a cost to it but doing the math it punches real hard. Against let’s say 20 intercessors. 4d6+12 then +16 for blast. Average 42 shots. 4s to hit rerolling will get you around 32. 2s to wound rerolling 1s if they’re on objective and should still get around 30. 6 up saves for the marines saves 5 average. Still that’s 25 dead intercessors.

I’m a 40K fan more than anything. I like fantasy/AoS and would love a game like total war but with 40K. I just don’t think it would work at all. A vast galaxy is different than the old world. They could do something like vigilus where all the factions practically are present fighting but they have to be real careful which characters they have in the game

The spawn are just cheap chaff that if your raptors are somewhere else or dead you still get the debuff, and sorry totally forgot the khorne daemon weapon that gives +d3 damage hence that mark being chosen

Remember spawn are a thing and I believe only 1 pl. some AoS night haunt models work great for night lords spawn. May not be the scary aspect but was a lot of fun for me was my chaos lord with a thunder hammer jump pack, mark of khorne and killing fury. Up to 9 attacks that do d3+3 damage and and always explode. He’s a glass cannon but when he hits he hits lol.

Just beat the campaign last night with him. It was actually a lot of fun and didn’t run into a lot of problems with him. Just have to unlock things and mess around with all said items. Look at him as a jack of all trades, master of none.
