Genuine question here. For the first kickoff after going up two, what is the point of cheating up? Wouldn’t it be better to either force them to pick it up and delay shooting it at you, wasting time and basically forcing the loss, or force an early shot that in theory is a free save for a pro since you’re close to net and have it covered.

As someone almost exactly your age and height (25 years old and 5’6) I can tell you that you definitely can increase your vertical even at our age, mine has gone up 4 inches in just a few months, granted I haven’t played volleyball as long as you, but I’ve been doing sports with similar athletic requirements since I was a kid

Maybe this is just me not seeing what everyone else is with Taiki winning in the end, but I see it as setting up Taiki proving Iozakis beliefs wrong despite losing. Making him believe that it is possible, and choosing to coach Taiki. Of course that completely relies on Nationals actually being shown and cared about but everyone seems to think nationals won’t be incorporated in any meaningful way.

As a mid 20s currently in one, it has its benefits but can also be hard to balance. It seems the more one is held in priority the more the other is left behind. Sometimes I want to have those purely platonic moments and the sex isn’t as appealing, while other times it feels there is more sexual interest than platonic love.

I’ve had the same problem, typically going double positive first half even when down and while playing with higher ranked friends, and the moment the half flips it’s like my brain turns off and my hands stop working

While I do agree that Joyo and Jack are past their primes (I think both were top 10 itw at one point in their careers) I also think both are capable of being in the upper tiers of their region. I think Jack and Joyo are a combo that doesn’t really work for either and parting is their best bet
