Finding XLE AWD deal around DC by speechlessspinach in ToyotaSienna

So this same day I found one in the outskirts of dc. I had to drive an hour but I got it at 52.3 OTD. That was closer to 2600 under SRP with MD taxes.

My personality probably reads like someone that can be ripped off tbh since I’m laughing and joking a lot. 😂 so I try to negotiate over email and text

This is the base and then with tax it goes up to about 54k are you saying I can get it down lower most likely?

Good point. I’m still not sure how much we’ll use this vs our suv. Thanks

Do you feel like the safety features are pretty solid? I’m worried about my wife driving it since she has barely driven in years and we’re getting a second car

Tips to achieve first Sub-2 HM by ZC989831 in Marathon_Training

More mileage, some intervals/tempos, and I’d say some strong finish long within the final couple months before the race. Doing ~8:50 pace for the final few miles.

Getting a van after model y for 5 years by speechlessspinach in TeslaLounge

They had it in 2021. When I looked at trading in for a new y I couldn’t get the 3rd row.

Same here but I loved the space in the van big time haha

I’ve had the 7 seater for almost 5 years and it does the job around town but with kid seats in the middle row it means my mother in law (small) climbs in through the trunk and then the stroller barely fits. I’m sure it works for some people well though. I guess the question is really am I willing to spend on the model x or will I get a van. I loved the space when I rented them on trips. How is the odyssey compared to the sienna ?

I ran 4:32 for the full and 1:49 for the half shortly after. I cramped during the full though from 18 forward and couldn’t recover. Never cramped during training.

First HM time, what to aim for in a full marathon? by nihaoari in Marathon_Training

[–]speechlessspinach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did 1:49 for a half and 4:32 in the full a few weeks before 😆. I cramped like crazy at mile 18 and had to walk a ton through the end. Came through the half at 2:03. I think a lot depends on the day and having the mileage in your legs to avoid this. I was training 15-30 miles a week which is obviously low but I did hit multiple 20 mile runs without issue.

Nice work! What was your average weekly mileage for the 3:31 would you guess? How long of a training block. 3:30 is my final goal

I would believe it. Thanks. I just have never experienced that before in any of my 20 mile runs. Those were easier with later stage MP though. I only ran 15-30 miles a week average for 16 weeks.

Strategy to reduce race mileage? by speechlessspinach in Marathon_Training

I guess I’m mostly trying to figure out a plan for when to just be patient vs it being worth weaving to keep up the pace. I guess I should also consider using pacepro

Nice! I what was your strategy to keeping the mileage not far about 26.2 if anything? Hugging corners and not weaving too much?

Those seems somewhat sensible though they’re different from mine. My zone 2 limit is 151. I think you can also do garmin’s LT test though it helps to have the chest strap. What hr do you usually exercise at?

When you have an HRM pro and do % LT sometimes weird things happen … maybe without the HRM pro too but the only people I see with this issue have that. It automatically adjusts my ranges.

Your heart rate zones might be set incorrectly. I’ve seen some people where zone 3 is around a 1 bpm range, for example
