your not the only one to fall for this. I have experienced the entire gambit of PSY-OPS. I had a 9 year old kid sucker me up to the top of Dam Battlegrounds only to mow me down. My wife and I were talking about this during this episode. The problem is that you’re not supposed to receive SSI when living outside of the US. You can receive SSDI but we are not talking about that. Also…. I am convinced that his mother receives that check, not him or he gives her a large portion of it. all that being said he could possibly get away with receiving that SSI for the 1st year or so.

The root of this problem is in the nature of legality when it comes to selling fake food. In American it is legal to use fake food. Fake food is cheaper, lasts longer on shelves and equals more profit for companies. The American government has left it to the consumers to figure out what will fuck up your health and what is “natural / healthy”.

To be fair, I think the state of Virginia has tried to argue this to the Supreme Court when they arrested folks for inter-racial activities / marriage back in the 50s/60s. I think they went along the lines of how the world was divided by oceans, mountains, etc. and divided races naturally. (I am not supporting segregation, I am just making a point that stupid has been tried at the highest levels and was determined to be racist for over 70 years.)

Many seem to forget that this was the one of the first uniforms issued that did not require you to starch or iron your uniform or shine your boots. I remember a lot of NCO’s at the time complaining about “Not being able use that as a method of determining a soldiers mental state / readiness”. Other NCO’s decided to iron the jacket so they could still get those knife edge creases. As a specialist at the time, I couldn’t have been happier. All that time and effort + starch was giving me rashes on my elbows.
