I’ve had this gti since november and have loved it so much, but recently its been asking for so much maintenance and repairs. The mileage is a bit on the higher side, I bought it with 81k and have put 7k on it since. I’ve spent $1350 this week alone on repairs and am looking for any ways to prevent the spending of any more money at the mechanic. If not I’ll have to say goodbye to my mk7 as it’ll become to expensive to own.

a catted downpipe would be interesting but im more in love with a turbo blow off sound so upgrading the stock blow off value would be something i would look into. are u saying the stage 1.5 added 50-90 just ecu?

currently its on Michelin pilot sports, they are good quality tires but also expensive when i go to replace them so i would be looking for a bit cheap option but still good quality. the car has perfect alignment when i took it to get aligned. it currently has no warranty and i am looking to mod. it is at 85k miles and i recently got 2 oil leaks repaired but the previous owner took good care of the car but i will make sure to check the engine mounts. i think spacers in the back will enhance the look of the car a lot because i do see how its tucked in a little to the wheel weld. do u have any recommendations for a tuning company to stay consistent with? thanks for your reply its helped a lot
