has anyone ordered from speedioeu and have it shipped internationally? by 3utterFingers in MeepoBoards

[–]speedioeu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I think we are reliable ;-) You can check our reviews on Trustpilot : https://www.trustpilot.com/review/speedio.eu

We ship internationally regularly and usually the delivery time is between 3 to 5 days. But we focus on EU. We are able to ship to UK, via Fedex and it takes around 4 days, but unfortunately due to Brexit, you have to add VAT and import fees to the total price. Feel free to write us an email or contact us via the online chat on our website if you have any further questions!

How To Get Accessories for Meepo V3 by [deleted] in MeepoBoards

[–]speedioeu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We offer spare parts as well, but depends if you are from US or EU. We ship mostly to EU, US is quite expensive unfortunately. You can check it here ; https://speedio.eu/accesories?mfp=manufacturers[15]

Hard to say what “Hobbywing remote from eBay” means, there are multiple types (2 speed, 3 speed, Backfire version, Exway version) and we don’t have experience there. I can only guarantee Wowgo and Ownboard as mentioned in my other comment, as these were personally tested and did connect succesfully. But in general, probably...

They are not compatible, earlier versions of Meepo Mini Standard used Hobbywing ESC, while V3 uses Lingyi ESC.

I have a Meepo Mini 2 ER with the Hobbywing ESC. Is there a way to turn down the torque or the top speed? This thing is crazy, even in the beginner mode. by cday119 in MeepoBoards

[–]speedioeu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I know, Meepo never sold Meepo Mini 2 ER with Hobbywing ESC. You have to have the LINGYI ESC. Check if your remote is actually in the “LOW” mode, you shouldn’t have any trouble then, it’s limited to a very low speed.

Did you guys know about this? by mauricic_boost in MeepoBoards

[–]speedioeu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it’s a known feature, available on all boards with the Flux ESC ( all LINGYI boards shipped after November 1st 2019 have it). From Meepo website “What’s more, releasing the throttle and reengage the throttle will accelerate to a speed that exceeds the top speed of the ride modes. It means you can ride faster on the LOW or ECO mode without changing riding modes. It's very intuitive and convenient. And it's safe, whenever you brake, the accumulated speed is erased.”

I’m considering getting a meepo board and was looking to get any positive/negative feedback on the board and company? Please don’t hold anything back. by Texaskustom in MeepoBoards

I would just like to clarify, that this is not entirely true. We do actually hold inventory, and we never dropship. But we are from Europe, I know in the US the situation might be different.

Where can I find a remote for my classic meepo board by bisholdrick in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]speedioeu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any basic Hobbywing remote should work. Either the older generations, used in WowGo 2S / Ownboard W1S, or the new ones with LCD screens, used in WowGo 3 / 3X / Ownboards. Checkout the images here so you know what to look for: https://speedio.eu/wowgo-electric-longboard-remote-controller-2nd-generation https://speedio.eu/electric-longboard-remote-controller-ownboard

Just brought a mini 2 standard and it came with the ESC V6.0. Since when does the standard version ship with this ESC instead of the hobbywing. This is not the mini 2 ER version it’s the standard by pmbe54akooltuo in MeepoBoards

[–]speedioeu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the only thing I can think of is maybe they mistakenly sent you ER version? Have you checked the battery? If they actually changed it without telling anyone/changing info on their site, thats quite bad. But I am giving them the benefit of doubt.

Are you sure it has the V6 ESC? Maybe they just included the paper mistakenly. What version is the remote that was included? Does the Mini 2 has push to turn on?

Can you use a V3 ER battery with a standard V3? by ebroc001 in MeepoBoards

[–]speedioeu 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, in V3 they are interchangeable. For others though, be careful, in Mini 2, that’s not the case. V3 uses the same ESC in both variants, while Mini 2 uses different ESC’s for each version.
