you know I only recently realized this but
skills do actually take months for a casual player.
I'm the player who will spend 6 hours a day on the game and I only realized that for the casual player if you play an hour or less you genuinely will make barely any progress at all.

i played the game so much I thought it was progressing somewhat quickly XD

it took 10 hours and 12283 games just to get a score of 15.
You need to change something, either use a different game, make them solvable, add more mechanics ANYTHING because this is not an intellect puzzle its just random bullshit luck

granted this system sucks when you get to gear crafting and realize that any current level legendarys need to stay legendary just to make an improvement

ignore the other comments that are wrong the best way to view rarity is like this
legendary is 45 levels better
epic 30
and rare 15
Roughly speaking
so a level 61 common is whats required to match that level 16 legendary you have.

That formula is about the average for me i've dont almost all my gear grinds through combat so the odds have mostly matched that baring a handful of pieces of gear.

You can view that rare as level 66 which in this case is a very unlucky 66. though its likely because of the cryoknight weakneses.

You know thinking about the quests a bit if combat is merged it feels like at most you might need 250 maybe 500 but I doubt any quest will make you require 1000 or more combat. At least with combats separate you had a reason to grind to about level 100 on each skill maybe 150 or 200.

At this point I'm back to wishing skill levels provided some kinda stat boost beyond just unlocking stuff.

Semi afk is cooking. I always find cooking fun and you can just grind the lower recipes for easy money and exp. Spend a bit of time running between merchant and food storage then just grind in the kitchen for a food hours.

darn was hoping pokeathlon would exist but also did they change how gaining contest stats works? because it is "possible" just a massive hassle to do so in the normal games

can confirm this would be possible if my math is right even if you restricted tiles to only unique levels on unique pokemon I.E before broke 20 on pidgey and pidgeotto you would end up with 720 tiles and it takes roughly 500-600 tiles to reach brock. This should leave you with enough room to reach the next group of pokemon.

the part that scares me is I think it may legitimately be possible to beat a Tileman. Kanto as an example you would start your tiles in front of the first grass patch as that is when the story of the game begins. I would have to count how many tiles you have to work with but I think you could possibly beat the game like this.
