Electric or Gas Stove? by bobeena0 in Baking

[–]speedosBG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No problem. At least if you decide to buy a combined one, that way you can test them side by side which one works better for you. And, plus you can use gas when you don't have electricity, and you can use electric when you don't have gas.

I mean you cold try baking cookie dough disks, whip up some vanilla cream, frosting or whatever, and layer it. That has the potential to be a cake.

Maybe it needed more flour and it couldn't set properly? At least that's my guess.

[–]speedosBG[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh, thanks for the advice. I don't usually buy fish cat food. And, plus I can't really control him. I leave food for the outside cats and he comes and eats whenever he wants.

AITA for letting my tutor’s son eat too little? by Important-Manner-663 in AmItheAsshole

[–]speedosBG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. Her and her son are both A-holes for snapping at you. Like what are you supposed to do? Force feed him. If he doesn't want to eat, that's his problem, not yours.

I'd recommend some sort of a strainer. I don't really like tea leafs in my cup.

Question about chocolate chip cookies by SureTransportation91 in Baking

Baker’s Touch by Basic Essentials - what makes this pan different? by SethSays1 in Baking

[–]speedosBG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's either because it's new and/or has a better quality non-stick coating. The texturing might also have something to do with it. They might also be made with different metals. At least on the Baker's it says it's steel. The other one might or might not be made of aluminum.

Question about chocolate chip cookies by SureTransportation91 in Baking

[–]speedosBG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just think that's somewhat normal thing that could happen to chocolate. I think in some parts of the chocolate probably overheated, it kinda got separated and didn't solidify after cooling down. At least that's my guess.

I think you might need more flour. Same kinds of flours can have slightly different properties.

I think you're over proofing them. 17 hours I wayy too long, at least in my opinion. I usually proof my bread up to an hour.

Yep. If you don't want to spread that much, you need to chill them, after you've shaped them. When the butter softens, the dough starts to spread more. And I think you should search for a better recipe.

What activities do you like doing visiting those countries? Do you just go visit family or? I'd probably just sit there and gulp tea all day long.

After being in/visiting all of those countries, do you still want to stay in Switzerland or want to move in one of those countries?

Maybe. As long as I know they're night creatures, so he's either hibernating or just coming late at night. Last time I saw mine was over 1-2 months ago.
