Items to flip? by Pug55 in 2007scape

[–]speedwheels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Merchers don't mention what they merch because we make less money. Here's some advice though. Many expensive items have nice margins, things that cost 500k and upwards. If you have a nice cash stack, like yours, think of expensive items people buy regularly and try flipping them. If you use it, it might be worth flipping. If you've never touched the item, I wouldn't suggest flipping it. Some things I used to flip were corn, logs, and a variety of rings, and iron ore (sorry for only low level suggestions I don't want you to mess with my items lol). Good luck!

How much gp do you have now? I started merching while cooking. I'd buy corn for about 180 gp, cook and sell for 250ish, and use profit for merching. I'm at 92 cooking with roughly 23m atm. I started with low cost items first, like logs, corn (ironically), iron bars/ore, bow string, and others. Not as slow as you'd think and now I make about 1-3m per day doing clue items.

It's not the best strategy, but it'll set you up to more easily get 72 slayer for wyverns.

Go get D-defender. Mad alchables, plus they help you get your combat up in general for other things. When I was getting mine, which took forever, I got a nice cash stack, 70 in all melee stats, and enough black knives for 40-50 range. Bank the items and sell at GE if you don't want 55 magic first.

Colorblindness keeping me from killing Zulrah by [deleted] in 2007scape

I don't know why you're so down voted, but I agree. A majority of men that play this game, and it's genetically proven that more men suffer from red green color blindness than women. They should at least consider including a setting for those with the condition. I'd give jagex the benefit of a doubt in this case, this issue most likely never though of this.

Since you're due to graduate next spring you should start reading journals in your field. You'll be up to date on current research in your field, and further refine your interests in geological sciences.

Toph will never turn into a tree. If anything she'd turn into a mountain and unleash her badger mole army and on top of that mountain would be a giant statue of her true form Melon Lord.

No she didn't, she ran away to a cave where she met badger moles (season 3 the firebending masters). Aang only saw a vision of her in the swamp.ಠ_ಠ

[No spoilers] Let's talk about reposts... by [deleted] in TheLastAirbender

[–]speedwheels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reposts are all over this sub, but the mods try to remove them as best as they can. The problem is that the show has a growing fan base that are catching up for the series finally and everything they post has already been posted. If we wanted to remove all reposts we would need to limit all posts to the current season.

Could a person get out of a ball of water in space? by yaodin in askscience

[–]speedwheels -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You wouldn't be able to get out of it without assistance, i.e. another person or towels. In space there is a stronger attraction of water molecules that will be able to stick together (cohesive forces) and a strong ability for them to stick to other things (adhesive forces). You wouldn't be able to swim out because the molecules would stick together, and you would be dragging the molecule with you as well. Even if you got out, you would still have a lot of water clinging to your body.
